There is a MADD doctrine between the parties preventing prosecution of prior admins. We get him now or never.
I think this one crosses the line.
We need to elect people who will simply do what is right and forget all the back room deals and all of the political “understandings.”
If someone is guilty of felonious actions like this man is, where American agents have died (two we know of and I bet there are more) and hundreds of civilians in Mexico...then forget the damnable “understandings” and put their sorry backsides in prison where they belong.
No “Get out of Jail Free,” card because you’re a Pol and you don’t want our guys prosecuted. If our guys do the same thing...then they aren’t “our” guys any longer. If you are a felon, you are a felon, and deserving of equal treatment under the law just like you or I would be.
Anyhow, that’s how I see and exactly what I would do if I were in a position to.
