"There is something simmering deep inside the soul of all Americans. We want to know that our country belongs to the people; that the government acknowledges our individual rights; that fiscal responsibility is an absolute requirement. We want our presidents and politicians to mean what they say when they take the oath of office... 'to defend the Constitution of the United States!'

"I hope everyone will see themselves as the Empowered Man. It makes no difference whether you are a man or woman, how old you are, or the color of your skin. When we decide to no longer be silent and to speak out for individual liberty under the Constitution of the United States we will be empowered!"

Seeing-eye, miniature-horse poop!

"Speak Out" all you damn well please. They have already deducted the taxes to pay for whatever infringments they desire from your income. Your local taxes pay to have a SWAT team at the ready to kill you in your own home. You are posting on an anonymous board, if not, you very likely could be sued for speaking out.

Sweet! An updated version of Mr. McNaughton’s original painting. I cannot tell by the face, but who is on his knees praying?

Sure hope that is the outcome after 10:00 am today.

PS Like the jeans and Carhartt on the U.S. citizen.

Jon McNaughton takes a lot of heat from the Left.
They hate that his paintings speak Truth.

(I wish I could paint like him).

McNaughton's great - I love his work. I wish I had his talent, too. But I can't keep the damned crayon inside the lines when I try.

"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

--H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920

I notice that he places Bush on the “progressive” side, between Obama and LBJ. I also notice Clinton holding a paper with the headline “FAILURE”.

Is this a sequel to one of his earlier paintings?

Is that JFK peeking out behind the Constitution? And who is that between WJC and FDR?
