Or what? A law without consequences is meaningless. It sounds like the election officials have just said "Oh, never mind."

Sounds like a certain President deciding that he doesn't feel like upholding the immigration laws... or other laws he doesn't agree with (DOMA). Lawlessness... you have a home in the Democratic Party.

The Dems stuffed the ballot boxes with not only fraudulent voters in person but IMO were likely taking matters into their own hands and adding ballots at the last minute when they thought Waangard could still win.

A good percentage of the poll WORKERS had signed the recall petitions, so they had a vested interest in this election.

I’m not up on the lingering effects of the recall attempts, but didn’t we hear that the senate has no activity scheduled before Nov 6, and that this contested seat is up for election *again* in November? A simple “No” would be a sufficient answer, but I do remember pundits laughing over the Dims one “win”.

Not exactly. The Senate has no business until afte the November election, UNLESS the Goovernor calls them back into session. Some Senators would like that because they feel that there is still lots of unfinished business.

This particular seat will NOT be up for re-election in November — not until 2014 — because of re-districting. Don’t ask me to explain that, because I can’t. Something to do with the recall being run in the district with the old lines and the next election will be along the new lines which are different.

What, a photo ID, what for? If you do not need a photo ID when you vote, which is a democrat privilege, why one for employees, why one for auto drivers, why one for ATM and other bank credit cards, why one for passports etc.??? I think we should ban all photo IDs and then everyone can do just as they please. (sarcasm) Eric Holder & Barack Hussein Obama are true enemies of the state!!! How any sane, objective American voter could vote for Obama is beyond objective comprehension.

In all fairness, the signature provision is relatively new.”

Balderdash! Having changes in the law which affect voting regs is no excuse. Texas has been through the ringer this year with changes due to Federal intervention. If you want to work in the polls you had to attend a long training session and be re-certified. Had this omission occurred once, that is one thing but for so many to not have signed is a red flag indicating other issues.

Normally I work at the polls, but I was out of state for this election. We’ve had training after training, but the GAB keeps getting sued over the election rules, sometimes with injunctions put in place just days before the election. Then the rule you were trained for is suspended.

My understanding is that these were new registrations, so there was probably no form for them to sign. Certainly the poll’s Chief Inspector should be fired because it was her job to see that this was done.

But 4000 new registrations in one municipality is enough to overwhem any system which is why they should halt this registration at the polls business. That is one reason the legislature should go back into session.

People who are already on the poll list have a place to sign right next to their name in the book, so it is no problem. People who are totally new don’t have a list to sign, or didn’t on election day in Racine. I’m sure they signed their registration application (I hope). It’s curious that dozens of PRE-SIGNED blank registration forms were found in the dumpster at one of these polls. Pre-signing a registration form by an election official is highly irregular. Whoever signed them should be fired.

Republican Van needs to keep the pressure on...

its only losers that let the rats get away with this stuff time and again...

just like in Washington State and Minn...where rat irregularities are routinely dismissed...

fight..fight..fight...at least let them know that we're on to them...

4000 NEW registrations on election day?....preposterous...

So, you feel the need to mock a guy who’s on our side? Who stood by Governor Walker, even though he represents a swing district, knowing full well it could cost him his job? Who’s now watching the left not win the recall election, but steal it?

I’m a Wisconsin Republican, too, and a constituent of Senator Wanggaard. The only “day job” he needs to go back to is representing me in Madison, not allowing a bunch of union scum to steal an election on behalf of a draft-dodging, convicted felon tool of the teacher’s unions like Lehman.
