“Dan Liljenquist was a weak candidate with not as much money as Senator Hatch, and his claims to be a member of the TEA Party were, also, in question, with, as an example, his comments about having tax increases being possible solutions to some of the country’s economic problems. Still, I would of voted for Dan, despite all of these things, if I was a Utah voter, because Senator Hatch has been a U.S. Senator for way too long.”

If Dan was for tax increases even before he lost the fire in his belly, just imagine what he’d be like in a few years.

Sadly this should be a wake up call for the Utah Tea Party to get an actual conservative to run against Hatch this next cycle. Becasue it felt like this choice:

Yes. It’s very possible that the “more conservative” candidate won, and that this was, actually, a race between two RINOS.
