....Just one massive hunk of pork. Why don’t they just install currency printing presses in every town square throughout the country and get it over with. OR... each residence could be provided their own printing press, but only be allowed to print enough currency to cover household budget shortfalls. (it will work on an honor system) I believe the large megabanks and Federal Reserve practically do this now. lol
We’re seeing the undoing of everything we gained after WWII, combined with the unraveling of the alignment of the world in its aftermath. Interesting how both are happening right at the same time. I believe we are seeing the stage being slowly set for the next great war. My only question is which countries will be involved. Right now I’m thinking China, Russia, India, Pakistan, and possibly Korea(s) would be shooting. It would get REALLY interesting if the Eurozone rapidly breaks down and those countries revert back to their old warmongering ways. As with the other great wars, we’ll eventually jump in after some internal debate/arguing. Then again, we may sit it out entirely, because we won’t be able to afford it, and as a nation would have a VERY difficult time doing a large enough scale manufacture of anything, given our lack of factories and lost skills over the years. Japan would likely sit it out too for similar reasons.
My apologies to all for drifting so far off topic - I just see one shitstorm leading into a greater shitstorm. The debasement and eventual rejection of the US dollar internationally will be one of the catalysts that helps set off the powder-keg. The fiscal irresponsibility of our government goes a long way toward dragging the world down.
