Some people flip out when they visit the White House. A couple visitors last week, though, used the occasion to flip off -- a portrait of the late President Ronald Reagan.
Two guests of the White House invited to a reception Friday to mark gay pride month were photographed giving the middle finger below Reagan's portrait.
The images were first published by Philadelphia Magazine -- in the pictures, the guests had both middle fingers raised, pointing up toward Reagan.
Photographer Zoe Strauss and Matty Hart, national director for public engagement at the group Solutions for Progress, had posted the images of themselves to Facebook.

I am told that Reagan wouldn’t even take off his suit jacket in the Oval Office. Within four years, you had a guy who was walking through it in dripping sweaty running shorts, then stripped the place bare at the end of his terms in office.
The White House is a place of reverence. It’s your house. It’s my house. It’s the nations house. Many of our leaders have lived there.
It is representative of our nation. It is the seat of our highest elected official.
I would not take step into that place without a suit on. My wife would be well dressed. We would conduct ourselves with great reverence there.
You wouldn’t catch us jumping up and down on the bed in the Lincoln bedroom. You wouldn’t hear about us lighting up a doobie.
I love my country, the United States of America. I may criticize things our leaders do, but inside the White House, they represent our nation. I would never flip off their portrait. It is even less likely that I would ever have my picture taking doing it.
You see, I respect myself too. Others respect me, and I wouldn’t want to have them see me act that way.
Reagan had dignity. He would never have flipped off portraits of men who may have disagreed with him. It’s way too juvenile for men to do.
