After hugging their families and the Larry O'Brien Trophy, the Miami Heat players went to the LIV nightclub in Miami early Friday to celebrate the franchise's second NBA championship.
The players reportedly spent an estimated $200,000 on champagne, including a 15-liter super-magnum-sized bottle called Ace of Spades.
The players began filing into the nightclub around 2:30 a.m. and sat on the main stage, which had been converted into a VIP area. Chris Bosh was the last player to arrive, at about 4:30 a.m.

Boooooooooo!
Did they say afterwards that they “Did it for Trayvon”?
Would you have whined if it were your favorite sports team?
Or, are you going to tell me ‘I don’t care about sports’? Then why did you post this?
Is the idea that only big money should be spent on the poor? So, all sports celebrations should be kept to something like $100 per person?
If I spend $200,000 extra on a house, would you say I should have spent that on helping the poor?
This is exactly why I no longer give a rat’s ass about the NBA. All that stupid Trayvon business they did (along with the fact I’m certain the vast majority of them support the Marxist fraud).
The money did go to help the poor. How many waiters, waitresses and bartenders got paid from this party.
This season was a complete joke with the lockout. Miami is a watered down champion.
I bet they didn't get as much in tips as you would think, considering that crowd.
If that idiot Mark Cuban, would have kept Tyson Chandler and JJ Barea and not brought in Lamar Kardashian, the Mavs would have kicked Miami’s ass again.
I believe SoFloFreeper was pointing out the fact that this administration and liberals both condemn the rich and are “fighting for the poor”. But when some of their supporters or fellow liberals(Miami Heat) do it, it’s ok.
Envy is not a becoming trait.
There was a lockout?
Wow! And I thought I was behind the times with not realizing OKC was once the Seattle Supersonics.
It has been a long, long time since NBA was worth watching for me.
Ding ding ding we have a winner.
The point of this post was not lost on me.
I think that was posted as a joke, but since you’re not laughing, he/she did it wrong.
Nice cash flow.
Why would anyone care? These overpaid louts can spend the money people are stupid enough to give them anyway they wish.
I would not attend an NBA game unless I had a gun to my head and I am not even sure about that.
$200,000? That would have only seated five of them at Parker’s ‘Obama Dinner’!
The Mavs offered Chandler a lot more money for a one year deal, but Chandler wanted a three year deal and signed with the Knicks.
J.J. Betray was offered crazy money by the Timberwolves.
I bet both of them wished they had stayed with the Mavs.
