RALEIGH, North Carolina, June 20, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - As part of their nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the disturbing practice of sex-selection in America’s abortion facilities, Live Action released new footage today from two North Carolina facilities.
The undercover sting shows counselors from Planned Parenthood Chapel Hill and A Woman’s Choice of Raleigh, a National Abortion Federation affiliate, booking abortion appointments for a woman even after she made it clear she would only do it if they confirmed the unborn child was a girl.
“We’re not here to judge people, we’re here to present them with their options and to be supportive of their decisions that are best for them and their families,” says the Planned Parenthood counselor.
“Your reasons are your reasons. It’s totally fine,” said the counselor at A Woman’s Choice. “We don’t even know the majority of people’s reasons why they’re here.”
Today’s video is the fifth in Live Action’s “Gendercide” project, documenting Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation’s support for sex-selective abortion in America. Footage for eight different clinics in five states can be viewed at www.ProtectOurGirls.com, a hub of research and information on sex-selective abortions.
Live Action says the abortion workers at both North Carolina locations follow the same disturbing pattern of facilitation established in the previous videos in the “Gendercide” series.
“Yet again we have caught Planned Parenthood saying one thing in public and doing the opposite behind closed doors,” said Live Action President Lila Rose.
While Planned Parenthood claims publicly to condemn sex-selective abortion, they have also said they are willing to provide the service.
“The fact is that, contrary to its public claims, the world’s largest abortion chain has no problem with targeted violence against girls. It willingly profits from any abortion, at any time, for any reason,” Rose continued. “How is it that this huge abortion profiteer and perpetrator of crimes against innocent girls and boys gets a single dime of our tax dollars?”
Six studies in the past four years indicate that there are thousands of “missing girls” in the U.S. from sex-selective abortion.
The UK, India, Australia, and other countries ban sex-selective abortion. But the United States, except for three states, does not.
The House of Representatives recently took up the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PRENDA), which would ban sex-selective abortions nationally. Planned Parenthood’s CEO Cecile Richards opposed PRENDA in a statement on the grounds that it would “limit [a woman’s] choices.”

Why do they even care what gender it is, they spend all their liberal time shrieking at the rest of us fetuses are not people. Talking about them in terms of gender is moot for liberals.
They are just hypocrites. If you talk about fetuses in terms of gender, you’ve just admitted they ARE people.
These libs are being allowed to have it both ways and nobody is calling them on it.
