DEVELOPING ...
President Obama has granted an 11th-hour request by Attorney General Eric Holder to exert executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents, a last-minute maneuver that appears unlikely to head off a contempt vote against Holder by Republicans in the House.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is expected to forge ahead with its meeting on the contempt resolution anyway.

They got oo’s.
Most. Open. Administration. Ever. NOT!
Issa: A Border Patrol Agent was killed by a gun used in operation Fast and Furious. I want to know why.
Obama: Hide the documents!
That was fast ... obozo didn’t even wait until lunch ...
IL Duce has spoken.
Now let’s see if Congress had a spine, or can grow one ASAP.
has
THEY SHOULD STILL VOTE AND HOLD MR. WITHHOLDER IN CONTEMPT as he was withholding information and stone walling
A tacit admission that Obama was involved in F&F
We are now into Constitutional crisis territory.
0bama’s definition of transparency.
Cover up.
Nixon’s Watergate was, by today’s standards, “victimless.” I was the cover up of an office break in. Obama’s Fast and Furious involves the DEATH of a US Border Patrol Agent AND HUNDREDS of Mexican nationals.
Epic difference.
Hold Holder in Contempt of Congress and draw up the Articles of Impeachment.
The next days will be fascinating.
Start the impeachment proceedings in the House now. Just do it. Don’t tell me “he’ll lose the election in 4 months anyway”. He might find a way to prevent that too.
Captain Transparency Strikes Again!!! We are ABOVE the law!!!
I’m no longer going to refer to Barack as Dictator in Chief. He’s merely to be know as a dick now.

How could Obama NOT have been involved?
Here we had the first African American president, and his tool Holder. Can anybody honestly believe that Holder would have been making moves without the knowledge and approval of his boss?
That defies all logic and would prove the utter incompetency of the administration right there!
Neal Bortz getting set to go wild on this on the radio.
Cannot wait to hear Rush today.
Grassley said: How can the White House grant executive privilege when these discussions did not allegely happen in the white house. My god Jim, even he sees it. By doing so, he tacitly agrees with the contention this was the plan all along, a move against the 2nd amendment.
So much for the “I Knew Nothing” position. EP means the administration (Bammy and Holdit) knew all along.
Just remember, Barack Obama leaked classified national security secrets in the War on Terror while at the same time he used executive privilege to suppress damning evidence against his administration in the Fast and Furious investigation.
You think they are still only hiding documents and not shredding them?
Hillary is awaiting to be named VP and the succeed Obama after impeachment in 2013.
Liberals will no longer be able to bring up Watergate and Nixon without having to play defense on Fast and Furious and Obama. This is no small matter.
Obama will not throw Holder under the bus because he has now tacitly admitted he's in on this scandal, and not just the coverup. This will be Obama's undoing, if not that of the Democratic Party. Imagine if you're say, Tim Kaine, running for Senate in Virginia. Kaine's support for Obama was already a problem for him, now he must disavow his support, past and present, or drop out of the race. This scenario will be played out in the near future in all political arenas, including Congress.
This administration now fits the description "Dead Man Walking".
Holder lied to Congress. Give him the cell they prepared for Roger Clemens.
This is Watergate times a million and makes Watergate look like a parking ticket . It’s obvious the president is involved ,, if not directly to the Fast & Furious program but certainly to a full blown cover up of the program .
You know, if push comes to shove, Obama will throw Holder under the bus. When it comes to saving the Annointed One’s azz, anyone and everyone is expendable.
good point.
It’s not just liberal politicians on the ash heap of history. The liberal media establishment has been exposed as the partisan childish hacks they are.
Selectively editing tapes to shape public opinion. Ignoring Fast and Furious for years. They covered up for this swinehound. Rathergate was but the tip of the iceberg.
The nightly news is nothing but a collapsed tower of babel now.
Cranky Cronkite: “The election has now become unwinable...”
I'm sure they're doing some shredding, and destroying some hard drives. I'm not sure it matters.
The MSM will attempt to shill for them, but that won't matter either. The Obama administration has now become an embarrassment to their supporters, and an existential threat to all Dem Party office-holders.
This is a game changer.
What makes this a Constitutional crisis?
The Constitution provides a clear and simple mechanism for Congress, acting on its own authority (with the participation of Mr. Chief Justice Roberts) to resolve this problem.
It's not the Constitution that is in crisis.
Dick Tater....
Or the GOP might find a way to prevent him losing, and impeaching him now would make his reelection more likely, IMO.
Barack Milhous Obama.
e-mails might be on an e-mail server. Might not be able to shred their hard drives without losing stuff they want to keep.
This administration now fits the description “Dead Man Walking”.
And that my friends is an extremely dangerous situation. There is nothing more dangerous than a rabid and crazed animal that is cornered and believes he has nothing to loose. That animal will strike out from desperation and a sense of panic......against all odds.
Congress does not have the b**ls to do anything because they are all corrupt and afraid of what is in their own closets. The next few weeks to months should be very interesting indeed as we await some slight of hand or dog waging event in an attempt to distract everyone away from this and other issues attached to this administration.
God help our country.
This coming election is truly our last chance to save our nation and our way of life. I pray that we do the right thing.
The best ammunition (no pun intended) yet to support a demand for a special prosecutor.
Or go straight to perjury.
want a best case scenario.... enough conservatives refuse to vote for romney, fubo wins, and is promply impeached by a republican house and senate...... and enough top libs are complicit, so that liberalism is effectively wiped out for at least a generation....
We now know by the White House's own statements that the Attorney General of the US is an unconvicted criminal. And the Obama Administration, which has had months of opportunities to voluntarily correct the Congressional Record and admit that they were informed of and involved in Fast and Furious has now made themselves suspect.
Just listening to Jaun Williams on Fox, accusing Issa of having nothing but political motivation in pursuing the F&F investigation. So according to Williams all those hundreds of lives lost as a result of the Justice Dept arming of known criminals, including the death of an American citizen is now completely unimportant in the mind of Williams.
If you and I armed known criminals and non-US citizens, and those weapons we handed over to them were used in the commission of a murder, we’d all be on trial today.
But for Williams...it’s “political” when the people arming the criminals are in the White House and working under Holder.
You are so right, plus the fish-wrap print organs also.
We can know this with certainty because even during the run-up to the 2010 mid-terms, all the leftist media were shilling for each and every democrat that ran, for state legislature and gubernatorial positions, and they were shellacked. The media had no power to persuade then, and as you say, this issue clearly renders them impotent, as far as their ability to carry the day the way they once did is concerned.
Well we need more time because the paper shredders can only shred so much at at time and there is just too much to get rid of...
