Sarah Palins husband, Todd, is among those competing in NBCs new reality series Stars Earn Stripes, the network revealed Tuesday.
This is not entirely surprising, given that SES exec producer Mark Burnett also exec-produced Sarahs TLC reality series Sarah Palins Alaska. And late last year, word around Hollywood was that Sarah and Burnett were pitching a reality series about Todds career as a championship snowmobile racer. Apparently, there were no takers.
Maybe more surprising, retired Gen. Wesley Clark, the former supreme allied commander in Europe for NATO and a 2004 presidential candidate, is going to host the show with Entertainment Tonight/Dancing With the Stars alumna Samantha Harris.
Well give you a moment to mull that pairing.

Each week on Stars Earn Stripes, the competitors, teamed with members of the military or law enforcement, will attempt to complete missions inspired by military exercises. The winnings will be donated to first-responder and veterans groups. Todd, for example, is playing for Armed Services YMCA Alaska, NBC said.

One stupid new show after another.....
NBC + no truth, no facts! They keep getting schooled by the new media!
Seems to me this is feeding the beast.
I think that’s an interesting premise, having skilled civilians compete with skilled military to see who comes on top.
I’ve seen Burnett’s other shows. He would treat the military people with respect.

Exactly. Is there no one in Hollywood with a hint of an imagination anymore?
Sarah Palin's husband will be joined by an eclectic group of celebrities, including boxer Laila Ali, Dean Cain, singer Nick Lachey, gold medalist Picabo Street and ex-NFL star/actor Terry Crews.
NBC has tapped General Wesley Clark (ret.), ((ugh)) the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO and 2004 presidential candidate to host the show along with TV personality Samantha Harris (Entertainment Tonight, Dancing with the Stars)....
It’s a living.
I’ll take, “I wouldn’t pee on Wesley if he was on fire” for $400, Alex....
Thanks for playing.

We keep praying ...
Thank you very much.
My TV seems to be stuck on Turner Classic Movies Channel, or the Military Channel. I can’t even watch Fox News much anymore, they’re stale.
A lot more interesting than watching people wander around a house, arguing and such.
Wasn’t Clark Janet Reno’s armor and munitions supplier?Great military action against civilians!
