More Delegates Want to Join Repub Revolt

In a revolt against Romney, at least 40 more national convention delegates asked to join 123 previous plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the Republican National Committee, and their attorney said hundreds more may soon follow suit.

The first 123 delegates, all from the 9th Circuit, sued the RNC, its Chairman Rince Priebus, and every state party chairman in the 9th Circuit in Federal Court on Monday, demanding the right to vote for the candidate of their choice on every ballot at the Republican National Convention, including the first.

The delegates claim the party violated federal law by forcing them to sign loyalty affidavits, under threat of perjury, to vote for Mitt Romney, though he is not yet the official nominee.

"The rule of law is “king.”"

Please...what 'rule of law'?

A quaint, outdated concept in this country since at least the Clinton impeachment.

“Can anyone here imagine the chaos that would grip American politics if electors were not bound on the 1st ballot?”

What is there that has them “bound”?

If there was something that had them “bound”, they could not do their duty of protecting the people of this nation from seating a threat to America and the Constitution, such as say, a Marxist Manchurian candidate who was under the influence of foreign interests and ideology... oh, wait...

So these people are so wise as to “protect the people?”

Requiring delegates to be bound is a threat in itself.

I wonder if these fans of bound delegates would feel the same if something came up that so damaged Mitt Romney between now and the convention that all knew that he could never win the election yet he refused to step aside.

“So these people are so wise as to “protect the people?””

Exactly so. That was the plan, anyway.

For example, the founders were concerned that if, say, the univeral franchise were unwisely granted by a reckless, weak-minded generation, and a corrupt rich elite were to push their Marxist Manchurian candidate who appealed to this dumbed-down electorate made up of groups of dependents, then the electors protect the people with their refusal to seat the fraud.

In the same way, it is the duty of the delegates to refuse to nominate a rich manipulative insider fraud that has the support of perhaps 20% (if that) of even the more active elements of the party, and is likely to lose in the general election to the other fraud anyway.

I see the problem as this...Mitt didn’t just proclaim himself as the winning candidate. Voters put him there. He was absolutely my last choice as a candidate, but I truly believe Obama has to go or we will not have a U.S.
In the primary, romney did NOT win fair and square. It had NOTHING to do with his religion. ( those who use the race or religion card have the same character traits as obama) He cheated his way there (with the help of the gop and his friends in various states).  He cheated us out of our vote. The ends justify the means is a communist/marxist tactic. Win at all cost. romney’s tactics were not to beat Obama, but to take our his REPUBLICAN opponents at all and any cost.
Iowa still has 8 different precincts who “lost” all their paperwork. Members of Romney’s church have been working the precincts.

http://www.npr.org/2012/01/20/145500170/8-precinct-vote-totals-missing-from-iowa-caucuses

The GOP  gave romney Iowa after a caucus worker went to the media and told them romney only had 2 votes in that county not 22. It took over two weeks to correct-time enough for romney to get NH.

http://caucuses.desmoinesregister.com/2012/01/06/appanoose-county-gop-chairman-im-confident-the-results-are-accurate
He had his friends kick some his opponents off the ballots in some states.

In the last year romney and some of his supporters helped romney by changing many states rules: Some conservative states were changed to split delegates and some liberal states were changed to winner take all. This heavily favored romney and hurts conservatives.

Romney, Virginia GOP commits election fraud: FOX News
The Examiner
Michael Phelps

With only minutes before the first Super-Tuesday Caucuses were set to close, FOX News and the University of Virginia Center for Politics reported a likely election fraud situation, committed by Mitt Romney and the Virginia GOP.

The establishment elite may be up to their usual 2012, nomination process shenanigans again as more people in positions of knowing have come forward to proclaim their displeasure with the establishment’s handling of challenges to their favorite candidate.

Multiple states across the country reported precincts tampered with, votes permanently lost, elections oddly postponed, permanently unverifiable results, and now simply not even allowing candidates to even be on the ballot to begin with.

Reporting from Virginia, FOX News’s Shannon Breen gave voice to political analyst, Virginia Tech’s Larry Sabato, who says it is very likely Mitt Romney and the Virginia GOP establishment, and their minions purposely kept signatures from being counted so, at least, Newt Gingrich wouldn’t be on Virginia’s ballot on Super-Tuesday.

If the allegations are investigated and found to be accurate, it would represent an addition to the growing list of reports showing the establishment elite to be manipulating the nomination process country wide, in favor on Mitt Romney.

Further stealing caucuses from other candidates, mainly Ron Paul, to likely insure the continuance of a 1%’r agenda that, according to Wall Street and the lion’s share of its campaign donation money, Mitt Romney is most likely to support should he be the nominee and beat Obama in November.

Romney is buying the election. Romney bought endorsements and had his friends buy attack ads so harsh and untrue, other candidates did not have a chance.

Romney was working with the gop establishment and various people in the media, to take out all the opposition.  Just like obama has his hit people in the media hurting republicans, romney had his hit people hurting his opponents. Unfair and corrupt politicking.  It’s pretty low when you use the lefts tactics on the people on your side. It’s about control and power for romney.

Why would ANYONE vote for another liar, cheat, thief.....pro abortion, pro gay marriage, pro gay adoption,.......politician? I will not stand before God and say I gave someone the power to kill an innocent baby or corrupt the hearts and minds of our children with the gay agenda....

Yes, I called romney a liar, cheat, thief.....I have the proof to post it. I don’t think many here want to see the proof or hear it, I know it would not matter to them, character doesn’t matter, only winning against the other liar, cheat, thief..........

In an age of politics where honor and manhood and doing something so shameful as to become an outcast are outmoded concepts, I doubt anything could ever come up that would cause Romney to step aside. So the fans of bound delegates have nothing to worry about there. (and I guess I just avoided addressing your interesting hypothetical of how they would feel there!)

The concept of a political action committee (which is all a state party is) requiring delegates to sign a contract to vote a certain way at a convention is repugnant to our system of representative self-government and a rejection of our origins.

“I will put my personal feelings aside and do what is best for America - and that is removing Obama.”

So why is it a problem if the Repukes nominate somebody else at the convention?

It would be worse for Obama so why would it get in the way of defeating him?

Romney only “won” because he was pre-selected. The dirty bastard was the vanguard in the quest to destroy Palin beginning in 2008. He is just another leftist who won a bunch of votes in states where Demoncrats can vote in the republican primary. (WTF is up with THAT?)

Romney is bad for America and if he was somehow taken out at the convention (I don’t think it will happen) whoever replaces him will have a better chance of beating Obama.

Maybe they the GOP would rather have Obama then a conservative president.

Of course they would rather have Obama. They are all Fabians and with fingers crossed are hoping that Obama can bring them their socialist utopia NOW instead of fifty to one hundred years from now on the Fabians schedule. Why do you think they have been maneuvering their weakest candidate into the nomination?

Romney has the delegates

As near as I can figure Romney is still several hundred delegates short of locking up the nomination. This despite the Romney campaign and the media doing it’s best to sell everyone on the primary being over.

No, but you will stand before God having unintentially encouraged the victory of Obama, who supports all the things you don’t like about Romney ten times over.

I realize the quandry we are put in with Obama vs. Romney. The only responsible thing one can do is to vote for less evil, understanding that all candidates are imperfect, all have evil in them. We vote for less evil. We vote for as much good as we can get even if it is only a thimble full.

When Obama is -100% of what we want, and Romney is 30% of what we want, you still go for the 30%.

The choice sucks but it comes down to voting for less moral depravity over total moral depravity.

I am praying for another candidate to get nominated at the convention. If not, the conservatives will have to work together to either write in or vote third party in mass. There are a lot of conservatives who don’t vote at all (18 million) because they have seen the corrupt gop and their crowned liberal candidates not really conservative. People are tired of the parties. How many times have we hear, “they are all corrupt”?

Romney is not 10% of what we want. In fact he is starting out worse as a candidate than obama started out. Add to that the cheating, lies and stealing. At least obama goes to his voters and tell them what he will do for them and ASKS for their votes. Romney does not respect the prolifers or traditional family group enough to go to one event out of the dozens he's been invited to. He arrogantly says we will vote for him. He thinks we will give up our principals for him??? LOL.

It amazes me how people will vote for a cheater, liar and baby killer/progay marriage & gay adoption politician to stop another cheater, liar...... There are so many around here criticize real conservatives for not voting for their candidate and tell us to disobey God and vote for their guy. There guy is worse than obama, in that obama admits who he is. Romney lied with the help of the gop about what he did and who he is. They are already making backroom deals with the k street crowd. He is not god as much as he wants to believe he is.

You know, folks who've surrendered to ABO and folks who like Romney always use the "circular firing squad" argument ... when the ONLY guy I see ANYBODY in the circle aiming at ... is Romney.

The "circular firing squad" argument is self-gratifying nonsense.
