Romney woos Christian conservatives, gets Santorum support
MSNBC ^ | June 16, 2012 | NBC News

Republican Mitt Romney paused Saturday during a campaign bus stop in Pennsylvania to touch base with Christian conservatives.

Obama's health care plan "attacks freedoms" and "raising taxes attacks freedoms," Romney said. The Obama administration's decision on contraceptive coverage "attacks our first freedom - religious freedom," he said.

He credited former rival Rick Santorum with touting three "best predictors" for happiness and good finances: be married, graduate from high school and get a job.

Santorum, a return visitor to the Coalition conference, said he has "no doubt" Romney understands the "centrality of family."

The former Pennsylvania senator urged the audience to help Romney win.

I don’t know who chokes more, the GOP or LeBron James.

>Way to go, GOP-E. Way to freakin’ go.

I understand your frustration, but it is misdirected.
Mitt may be the current standard bearer for the GOP E, but they did not nominate him.
The voters did, and that is a fact.

No the voters did NOT vote romney in; romney and the gop cheated and bought there way in. In the primary, romney did NOT win fair and square.  Many people won’t vote for a social liberal. Add to that a cheater (with the help of the gop and his friends in various states).  HE CHEATED US OUT OF OUR VOTE! The ends justify the means is a communist/marxist tactic. Win at all cost. romney’s tactics were not to beat Obama, but to take our his REPUBLICAN opponents at all and any cost.

Iowa still has 8 different precincts who “lost” all their paperwork. Members of Romney’s church have been working the precincts.

http://www.npr.org/2012/01/20/145500170/8-precinct-vote-totals-missing-from-iowa-caucuses

The GOP  gave romney Iowa after a caucus worker went to the media and told them romney only had 2 votes in that county not 22. It took over two weeks to correct-time enough for romney to get NH.

http://caucuses.desmoinesregister.com/2012/01/06/appanoose-county-gop-chairman-im-confident-the-results-are-accurate
He had his friends kick some his opponents off the ballots in some states.

In the last year romney and some of his supporters helped romney by changing many states rules: Some conservative states were changed to split delegates and some liberal states were changed to winner take all. This heavily favored romney and hurts conservatives.

Romney, Virginia GOP commits election fraud: FOX News
The Examiner
Michael Phelps

With only minutes before the first Super-Tuesday Caucuses were set to close, FOX News and the University of Virginia Center for Politics reported a likely election fraud situation, committed by Mitt Romney and the Virginia GOP.

The establishment elite may be up to their usual 2012, nomination process shenanigans again as more people in positions of knowing have come forward to proclaim their displeasure with the establishment’s handling of challenges to their favorite candidate.

Multiple states across the country reported precincts tampered with, votes permanently lost, elections oddly postponed, permanently unverifiable results, and now simply not even allowing candidates to even be on the ballot to begin with.

Reporting from Virginia, FOX News’s Shannon Breen gave voice to political analyst, Virginia Tech’s Larry Sabato, who says it is very likely Mitt Romney and the Virginia GOP establishment, and their minions purposely kept signatures from being counted so, at least, Newt Gingrich wouldn’t be on Virginia’s ballot on Super-Tuesday.

If the allegations are investigated and found to be accurate, it would represent an addition to the growing list of reports showing the establishment elite to be manipulating the nomination process country wide, in favor on Mitt Romney.

Further stealing caucuses from other candidates, mainly Ron Paul, to likely insure the continuance of a 1%’r agenda that, according to Wall Street and the lion’s share of its campaign donation money, Mitt Romney is most likely to support should he be the nominee and beat Obama in November.

Romney is buying the election. Romney bought endorsements and had his friends buy attack ads so harsh and untrue, other candidates did not have a chance.

Romney was working with the gop establishment and various people in the media, to take out all the opposition.  Just like obama has his hit people in the media hurting republicans, romney had his hit people hurting his opponents. Unfair and corrupt politicking.  It’s pretty low when you use the lefts tactics on the people on your side. This tells me he is not a fair team playing and do what HE wants. It’s about control and power for romney

GOP: Hey there buddy, vote for Romney!
YOU: No thanks, he’s not a conservative
GOP: But he’s better than Obama, right?
YOU: Well... not according to his record
GOP: What if I told you that Santorum supports him... eh? eh?
YOU: DURRRRRRRR well in THAT case!!!!

This is how the establishment views the conservative voter.

“Yep - Obama’s term in the WH and his actions have deranged a lot of folks. I think it’s more fear for the Nation and a sense of helplessness driving most of it - they want the best so bad they won’t settle for the least-damaging. They seem to be more intent on destroying Obama’s competitor and ensuring the worst happens and our Nation is finally taken away. Almost like a person disposing of all his possessions before committing suicide - born of despair and seems to make sense at the time....”

“Four more years of Obama and there will not be another
chance to take any medicine. Personal freedoms will be history.”

This country is far stronger than you give it credit for. Woodrow Wilson was by far a more dangerous president than Obama. We survived 2 terms of that guy as well as a Great Depression and 2 world wars!

Please stop using irrational fear-mongering to convince people to throw out their conservative values. Thank you.

Yep. Some people refuse to see that though...

Both candidates are Liberals
One of them only has 4 more years left
The other could have 8

NOW tell me what is the “lesser of two evils”!

Which of any of the Republican candidates made a commitment to this? Sorry, but that genie is out of the bottle and no Republican who seriously wants to win an election is going to expend the overwhelming amount of political capital trying to put it back in.

You seem to be cutting and pasting this defeatist statement on FR? Are you familiar with the GOP platform on this issue specifically and in general? Do you support the GOP platform on this issue? Would anyone be crazy to expect ANY GOP candidate to support the GOP platform on this issue?

There is no need to continue apologizing for RINO Romney -Romney can speak for his RINOness quite well all by himself.

P.S.

Romney on DADT (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell)

Question: How do you feel about gays serving openly in the military.

Romney: That’s already occurred and I’m not planning on reversing that at this stage. <

Question: But you’re comfortable with it?

Romney: I was not comfortable making the change during a period of conflict, by virtue of the complicating the features of a new program in the middle of two wars going on, but those wars are winding down and moving to that direction at this stage no longer presents that problem.

November 9, 2011: Romney meeting with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register.

No Comment Lately Romney versus the GOP Platform:

http://www.gop.com/2008Platform/NationalSecurity.htm

Here is one paragraph from the Republican platform:

The all-volunteer force has been a success. We oppose reinstituting the draft, whether directly or through compulsory national service. We support the advancement of women in the military and their exemption from ground combat units. Military priorities and mission must determine personnel policies. Esprit and cohesion are necessary for military effectiveness and success on the battlefield. To protect our servicemen and women and ensure that America's Armed Forces remain the best in the world, we affirm the timelessness of those values, the benefits of traditional military culture, and the incompatibility of homosexuality with military service.

So Does Reality Romney support the GOP Party Platform today -has he flipped since being anointed the nominee by fellow RINO's and the MSM?

It seems odd that Romney is willing to lead an effort to overturn one leftist law, taking over healthcare, but not willing to lead an effort to overturn another leftist law homosexualizing the military?

It will be interesting to see if and how the RINO's attempt to change the GOP platform to match the Reality Romney platform. I, and I am sure many, will be watching what they actually do, versus what they say.

Rake,

It’s public, abortion is in RomneyCare. And we have
his very words. The Youtube, this is when Mitt was trying to win election in liberal pro-abort Massachusetts.

“Romney, who has pledged a pro-life agenda. Anyone who thinks these positions are identical is completely out of touch with reality. Give it up!”

~ ~ ~

Like Romney’s “pledge” to be for abortion here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_w9pquznG4

Please comment on the Youtube. So now, to win, Mitt is for life. Where’s the proof? A man who would applaud his own mother for being a pro-abort is not Christian.
