Is anyone around here old enough to remember when North Vietnam reinvaded the South a mere two years after signing on to the cease-fire to end the war?
The South Vietnam government asked merely for naval support to halt the invasion with near zero risk to U.S. troops. President Ford agreed to that support under the terms of the cease fire. The jackass majority in congress almost immediately passed a House resolution to cut off funding for that purpose and the North Vietnamese cruised in. The rest is history.

History has many lessons of political/ government deceit. There are many people the USA who don’t understand or do understand (note the double speak)that talk can be deceptive. Who knew Hitler was actually planning on invading Russia only a few months after both countries signed a non-aggression pact? Who knows what Obama is really meaning by the words he speaks? One thing that is apparent/certain is that the USA is in for some tough times in spite of millions being spent on ball games, millions being spent at casinos, millions being spent to give to Hollywood/entertainment people money to subvert the Constitution, and millions going to unions,especially public unions, to milk public troughs.
