This all started a few years ago when Bono (contrived by the UN) was screaming that the US should ‘forgive’ 3rd World countries of their ‘debt’. It goes on and on.

This is also an election tactic. The DemonRATs must invent a boogieman to incite the unwashed masses to hate Republicans. Using pseudoscience to support their strategy is nothing new in their “ends justifies the means” value system. When you come from a value system of moral relativism, you do anything to win.
