Haven’t heard much from Boehner about is, but of course that is no great surprise, we don’t hear much from him on anything.

Certainly Catholics like myself and most other religious organisations can see that this is unConstitutional, and that in itself is worrisome, but to also see that Muslims do no have to abide by this is enough to piss off a Saint.

Perhaps I’ve missed something due to my having a life and a job etc. But has anyone seen any statements issued from the Vatican regarding this? I’d love to see the Pope tell us the official position of the church.

The things that are Caesar's are relatively few, the taxes necessary for basic government functions and little else. The things that are God's? Our hearts, our souls, our complete loyalty, and our continuous obedience. If government gives an order that is evil, obedience to that order is not one of the things that are Caesar's, and we are not morally compelled to obey. Since this order is also unconstitutional, both outside the Enumerated Powers and in direct violation of the First Amendment, we have no legal obligation to comply.

Too slow to catch on there Michele...that’s all it is really about...don’t you see?

All the attacks on faith in the public square etc. The banning of charity and charitable food donations etc. All of that must be handled by the new god. Each must render that which the new god see fit to redistribute...because thou art to small and simple minded to be charitable.

You see...when a people hands of its culture, religion and morality to the government they do so at forsaking all others and God.
