Top Of the Justice Department accused of criminal behavior.
Just the start of many in this administration. Obama appointed Czars because their background could not pass muster with approval by congress.

If all the Republicans on the committee, the majority, vote to for contempt, then Holder will be held in contempt?
To: Raebie
So? How are they going to get him out?
They’re not. He’ll thumb is nose at it.

Boehner votes no. He needs to be dumped as speaker in January.

So what happens if they actually muster the cajones to hold him in contempt....a strongly worded letter ?

...then Holder will be held in contempt? The committee votes on a resolution that would then, if passed, go to the full house "committee" (the entire house) for a vote. I'm not sure, if that is passed, if it needs another vote by the full house. Then, he is in "contempt".

Once that happens, he can be impeached.

Holder will ignore this just like he ignores everything Congress asks him to do.

This is all great and fine, but I see another set up coming.
The repubs follow the laws and guidelines and the dimrats just thumb their nose at the law.
Clinton was impeached in the repub house, but the dim house ignored the whole event.
IF holder is held in contempt, he will just ignore it and run out the clock. That puts the repubs in the position to enforce the law against a black dimocrat official.
oh yeah like that’s going to happen.

the House Oversight Committee will vote next week on whether to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of CongressWhy wait a week?
To: pabianice
This is a House Oversight Committee vote; not a full vote of the House. Boehner won’t be voting. OTOH, I’ll assume Issa feels he has the committee Republicans locked in if he’s comfortable scheduling a vote.
