By asking a bunch of people who were not even ALIVE - or certainly not politically aware (being 10 years old or less) when he was President.

Jimmy Carter got to be President the same way Barack Obama did. We knew next-to-nothing about him, but, to simpletons swayed by such, he sounded interesting. Carter was a Naval Academy graduate in nuclear engineering and a gentleman peanut farmer and politician from rural Georgia. As it turned out, he was the worst President in the history of our country, until Mr. Obama. The idiot 50% who now say they approve Mr. Carter's presidency have forgotten the inflation, the gas lines, and the totally abysmal foreign policy record that led directly to many of our problems today. Under Mr. Carter, too, the insane (and, may I say, criminal) policy of encouraging people to buy homes they could not afford and forcing financial entities to give them undocumented loans got off to a start. Jimmy Carter was a disaster. Sound familiar?

I lived through the Jimmy “Stagflation and Malaise” Carter regime ... let’s just say that my opinion of him started out pretty low in 1976 and has been on a steady, monotonic decline ever since.
