Abu Yahya Al-Libi is a rock star in the jihadist world. With his videos and lectures going viral on the Web, he is Al Qaeda's Mr. YouTube.
On Monday, the top Al Qaeda operative reportedly was the intended target of the latest U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan, strikes that have been increasingly unpopular among Pakistanis but successful in recent years at taking out terrorist leaders.
The latest strike reportedly killed eight militants in the tribal region of North Waziristan. U.S. and Pakistani government sources told Reuters that Al-Libi was the intended target, but they could not confirm whether he had been hit.

Hopefully a lot of jihadis will get killed by end of year. Because if Romney wins, all of a sudden these drone attacks will be a big political problem for the president come January 20th. Stinkin’ Dem/MSM hypocrites.
But he claim Bush had Guantánamo Bay helped recruit terrorist and damage US image.
It looks he topping that without even getting any information from dead terrorist.
STUPID!
Bush caught hell for it, 0bummer gets away with it almost unscathed, and Romney would be lambasted, too if he continued it. Dem/MSM are way beyond hypocrites, IMO. They’re in lockstep with al Queerda jihadis.
Zero recidivism, but zero intel.
“Sources” need to be ***silenced***.
Don’t you understand? Those are Bushes cards. He made them with Cheney, Rove and Rumsfeld at a board meeting at Halliburton. :)
Can you imagine the god awful hoopla this would create if Bush is playing this “Pick a card, any card” game. The MSM would have impeached him.
God, please make the MSM fail and go away. What’s that? They are failing? Thank you.
I’m so very sick and tired of these MSM people even tho I no longer let them into my life anymore or ever again.
Hopefully he lay beneath the ground, among the rocks as we speak.
Exactly. As of May 2011 (not 2012, 2011) President Obama had authorized 193 Pakistan drone strikes since he took office. That number is over 4 times those authorized by President Bush - in his TWO terms (source: New America Foundation). I only dare guess what the current ratio between Obama vs Bush drone strikes is. Yet, the only opposition to the drone strikes have been from the terrorists and the Pakistani government. US media has been amazingly quiet regarding the drone strikes ...even though President Bush got criticized quite a bit over them.
Some would call that double standards, others hypocrisy. I would throw in lack of professionalism and gross bias. What's good for the goose should be good for the gander, especially considering one person was criticized for something that is magnitudes lower than that for the other.
Thus what you say is true. If Romney wins the Presidency there will be an immediate and robust shift in media attitude towards continued drone attacks in Pakistan. Even though the drone attacks do work, and work well, they will suddenly become 'wrong.' After all, if Bush conducting strikes was wrong, and Obama in less than 2 years does four times more of them than Bush in 2 TERMS with no real complaints, then that establishes nigh-scientific proof of media bias. A lot of times people claim bias but can't back it up with numbers and figures, but this is as clear as anything that bias exists.
They're all "number two" to me...
And we lose another source of intel.
The Europeans laugh at us.
The middle East and Far East hate us.
Situation is Grim
Bet we get to see the body this time. Probably in October.
None of this tripe was evident during BushII. They find a camel humper... they crown him and kill him... obamao takes a bow. This is getting old. Go back to killing all of them and keep it off the news for political gain. Never happen... obamao is nothing but lies and propaganda. He is NOTHING without those tools.
LLS
Y.I.K.E.S!
I’m wondering if it’s (no intel gained) intentional, now?
I’m wondering if it’s intentional, now, that we aren’t getting any intel, and just killing the trogs?

A new way to use your dearly and recently departed pets in the war against terrorism and even against domestic enemies.
Roger that, bigtime.
