You want to fight childhood obesity?
Get the kids off their fat a$$es and doing some physical exertion.
Turn off kid’s computers, cell phones.
Re-institute Phys. Ed. in schools.
Stop busing so kids can participate in after school activities instead of spending an hour or two riding around.
Heck, when I/we were in school we played sandlot football almost every day, rode our bikes 10+ miles to Biscayne Bays, etc.
Went to Dairy Queen every night for a chocolate malt trying the GAIN weight.
BTW, my friend’s father worked for Coca Cola so soft drinks were plentiful.

I’m not being sarcastic. I’m just amazed that the Bloomberg sheeple just keep on grazing. Grass might be all that they are allowed if he’s in office much longer.
I had a great childhood too. Came home, did my homework, took off on my bike, played ball, came home for dinner, worked on my Dynaco stereo amplifier kit - always had something to do. And if I came home too early, stepdad worried that I was sick.
