You are exactly right. When I was 16 my German teacher was this tall, blond-haired blue-eyed 27 year old from Denmark. I would have banged her like a screen door in a hurricane. Let’s just say that those two years of German were hard, but I never, ever thought of skipping that class.

My HS German teacher, Fraülein N., was walking around the class one day, speaking to us.
