The judge didn’t buy the passport argument by the prosecutor, but he did the finances argument.

Wasn’t it practically common knowledge that Zimmerman had raised a lot of funds on line at the time of the arrainment?

I would think the relevant number would be the amount he had on hand the day before he gave the judge a number. If it went up significantly after that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Keeping him in jail is going to keep him in the news. I think, with a conviction looking unlikely, they will want to start walking away from this story. Don't look for him to spend too much time before new bail is posted.
