I saw a thread awhile ago that had a list of about 15 solar energy and “green” firms that had received stimulus funds that are now bankrupt.

The Oakland-based company has held rights for the 1,000-megawatt Blythe Solar Power Project in the Southern California desert, which last April won $2.1 billion of conditional loan guarantees from the U.S. Department of Energy. It is unclear how the bankruptcy will affect that project.
Over in the comments sectionof the link in the first thread, ozombies are saying Solyndra was the only failure, and that the other 26 companies are doing very well. Specially citing A123 Systems as a huge success! Here’s the skinny on A123;
