Dr Sowell should have been one of the most famous individuals in this country. I can't get enough of his writings. Common sense, honesty, integrity, intelligence, insight, name anything good, this man has it. I discovered him in 1984 and to this day can't understand why his name isn't on the tip of everyone tongue. But, once you step back and look and what we have for media, justice and representation, if it doesn't change this election, the US of A will be the US of crap.
Obama should be impeached and Holder should be in jail for their actions.
If the 40%+/- represents Obama’s favorability, we have a tragically long way to go.
Make plans now if Obama wins. What next???

Don't forget that Holder is a long-time bag-man for the demon-rat party. He was the fixer who engineered the Marc Rich pardon, something that career justice dept lawyers during the Clinton administration strongly objected to.

Excellent column! Holder has committed crimes in office. Stopping the prosecution of the New Black Panthers who were intimidating voters, and his involvement in Fast & Furious are two instances which come to mind.

He is a corrupt politician and gave the green light and approved of the money transfer when he recommended a pardon for Mark Rich. It’s not racist to observe that Obama and Holder are racist. Thomas Sowell is black, after all, and a genuine American black person, too - born in Gastonia, just the other side of Charlotte from where I live - not a foreign Marxist.

No, but he was a Marxist, in the 1950s. He was a “good negro” (as the polite term then was) in the fifties, until he studied the effect of the minimum wage and realized that socialism was a con.

He loves to recommend good books, but when asked what books he liked when he was young he is embarrassed, realizing that he was a “skull full of mush” (as Rush would put it) when he was young.

I was astonished when I learned that some years back, I suppose because he had been in the Marine Corps.

When he realized it and changed his position it was because he has an analytical and open mind and I certainly admire him for admitting it, he has talked of it a few times in the last several years also.
