requested confirmation from Dr. Alvin T. Onaka, Registrar of Vital Statistics for the State of Hawaii, that the birth certificate posted on the White House website is a “true and accurate representation of the original record in your files.”

Now if that isn't a lot of doubletalk. Congressmen too are supposed to be representatives of the people but, as in this matter and so many others, they fail.

No kidding.

Notice how the request and answer are worded.

Request: "...that the birth certificate posted on the White House website is a “true and accurate representation of the original record in your files.”

Answer: "“I verify that the information in the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth for Mr. Obama that you attached with your request matches the original record in our file.”"

The two talked right past each other.

Bennett asked if the document on the web matches the original in the files, and Onaka answered that the information on the web document matches the information in their files.

Onaka did not say that the web document is a replica of any document that they possess.
