I know Sarah Palin endorsed Ted Cruz, but for us non-Texans, is Dewhurst just a soft conservative or an out-and-out RINO? Will he be some improvement over Kay Bailey Hutchinson?

Don’t think Dewhurst will get 50%. If Cruz can keep Dewhurst short of the needed 50% win, Cruz will win the runoff in July. Tea Party dudes & chicks, keep finger crossed.

I checked several dozen counties in early voting, and Cruz is leading nowhere. The China connection ad ruined him; he did not reply forcefully and convincingly.

Im surprised Dewhurst is so close to 50% Same here. I didn't even know he was running until a couple of weeks ago. I've been hearing about Ted Cruz' campaign for at least a year now.
Cruz got my vote today.
