And isn't it odd and coincidental that they both had their sig lists gone over hyper-scrupulously, and had just enough tossed to disqualify them both? Meanwhile, Romney's lists went basically untouched and were accepted quickly?

Paul's list also went basically untouched and was accepted quickly.

Remember the significance of 15,000 signatures, the threshold beyond which no verification was to be done?

Both Romney and Paul submitted in excess of that number, Gingrich and Perry did not. Yes, it's a screwy rule, and obviously it favors establishment candidates, but it's not like it was hidden from view to these professional politicians.
