This all sounds like a setup. Early in the campaign Obama “loses” his own then he miraculously brings them back together just before the election causing a perceived tidal wave of support.
I agree. A strategy to demoralize the enemy is always useful.
In 04, myself and a lot of FReepers were voting for Kerry in all the polls. In the end Kerry lost and the democrats were screaming bloody murder because the polls said he would win.
