Funny, I was just over at HP and they are peeing in their pants with happiness that Barnett has moved to within 4 points after weeks of attack ads against Walker ....

They actually think Walker will be recalled ....

This has cost us over 17 million at last count. One bumper sticker/sign is bubbling to the top: “Recall Santa, I didn’t get what I wanted”

The DNC is not worried about this. After all, where will the unions go? To the GOP?

The union leaders will remain steadfast socialists. The rank and file are another question.

Historically, Republican candidates have captured around 40% of the "union vote". This time around, it may be closer to 60%..

Arkansas doesn't have recall. Actually, only about 18 states have it, and it's not used that much, but when it is it is very expensive.

I think this provision occurred first to people who preferred the parliamentary systems they had "back home" and recoiled at the American idea of having elections at specific intervals.

Recall doesn't fit all that well with the American system ~ and a good case could probably me made for disposing of it for being contrary to the standards we require for a 'republican form of government'.
