All the Dems chose the (R) line to vote for Romney.

Its a primary. If the incumbent was a republican would you show up? I wouldn’t...waste of my time.
I voted on Prop 2 to overturn Obamacare
Voted for Ted Cruz, voted to reelect Randy Meeks as sheriff.
Voted in protest against Romney and voted for my neighbors Son for treasurer now that my CWO5s wife is no longer running
I also voted for Lou Giglioti over Ralph Hall

Guess what happened? Not a soul on the Dem Primary line. Not a soul! Now we will see if the dems can win solely on the support of the dead vote. (visions of the Franken election going through my head)

PJ O’Rourke once said, people don’t line up at the polls to vote for the status quo.

I voted for Newt, even though it won’t matter...but what the hey.
Voted for Cruz.
When I was asked if I were a republican...I had to hesitate...as I am no longer a repub. but an independent.
There was quite a line...but our county is VERY republican, as we are the buckle of the Bible belt. :o)

You gotta love PJ O Rourke

Well, at least we know Newt got 2 votes - yours and mine. It is, after all, the primary and may be the last chance we have to show our true preference this election year. Do so hope Cruz either wins or can get enough votes to force a run off.

Most people do not. However, now that I’m thinking about it, there’s not much reason for republicans to show up either. Romney pretty much has it wrapped up already...unless you plan on voting for ron paul. Who else is still in the race?
To: mylife
The corrupt dems don't actually need bodies at the polling places to win elections.
It's all done behind the scenes.
The GOP-e know they are doing it and are too frightened to do anything about it.

Is there a particular reason why a democrat would be voting since Obama is the nominee...

I voted Monday and there were only four voters in the place that had maybe 20 machines or more. There was no line separation regarding party but there wasn't anyone waiting.
From what I've seen the overall participation is down. I attribute that to no real contest on the Democratic side like there was in 08. Also I don't see a lot of interest in statewide races in my area.
Here is a link to the top 15 counties and their in person/mail ballots totals so far.
