I know this article is a month old, but it spells out so clearly the THEFT perpetrated by MF/Goldman/Corzine that it is worth reading anyway.

Jon Corzine is Jon Corzine. George Zimmerman is George Zimmerman. Why is there this incessant need to compare X to Y by saying “X is just like Y because....” There isn’t any additional understanding being laid out or proffered. Just a faulty analogy. And why do so many articles pose asinine questions? “Did left handed turnips wear blue socks as they forged their way across the American West in the late 19th Century?

Well, sometimes they did, and sometimes they didn’t. Now, don’t you feel smarter?

The speed and depth of the decline is increasing at a pace that is hard to believe.

Yeah, we’re political junkies here, and so far better informed than a lot of folks, however it is difficult to have a useful conversation with many these days because they are so either biased or stupid it’s pathetic. One might infer the state of fiscal health is much, much worse than publicly admitted simply because of the outright theft on such a large scale, in a brazen manner, with no accountability. Way to go, guys.

What the idiots mentioned above fail to grasp is that America (at one time) had a very strong sense of fairplay at the institutional level, it was ingrained, part of the culture, the rule of law. This had an enormous effect on drawing talent and capital from around the world. “Brain drain” indeed. To our universities, to our corporations, and regular people seeking a better life, or just to be left alone.

Now we get to watch this in reverse. Intelligent people seek greener pastures elsewhere. Treasury auctions become tougher to fill, the appetite goes away, and so on. Not good.

You know, liberals who complain about “minorities” (i.e., Amish) getting years for drug offenses have a legitimate beef, when these POS’s are still walking around.

Interesting article but it is poorly written, IMO. An attempt was made to tie the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case to the MF/Corzine theft case. The author cites one supposedly obvious similarity but the thread is very weak.

To make an obvious comparison: Much like the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case, the outrage here goes beyond the fact of the horrific crime. An equally profound insult in both cases lay in the fact that that serious crime obviously had been committed, and yet authorities refused to act for months.
Huh? Which "crime" is comparable?

Just as it was incredible when Florida authorities dragged their feet in the Zimmerman case, it’s incredible that people in Washington don’t see the implications of this continual non-decision on MF Global.
The "authorities" in the Martin/Zimmerman case waited until it was selected by race pimps to serve as a national example of anti-Obamasonism and the "authorities" have wrongly filed murder charges. The "authorities" in the MF/Corzine case have not filed charges against the perpetrator.

Other than that, it's sort of thought provoking and at least calls attention to the crooked and corrupt former governor of New Jersey and the fact that he gets to live worry-free because of his connections to the Obama administration.
