Kerry, you see, was cool. He windsurfed and wore spandex as he cycled, and found his exemption by championing the poor he rarely saw. The same was true of John Edwards of Two Americas fame. Do we now recall how he ran to the left of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, despite the $500 haircuts and the self-indulgent mansion, replete with Johns room, a hideaway with all sorts of adolescent toys? Edwards, remember, earned those spoils by charming juries in his smarmy style, and nearly destroyed the practice of obstetrics in North Carolina through his flurry of malpractice suits. No matter, Edwards was liberal, Kennedyesque, and cool...

The prospect of “O” amd MO for in-laws would be enough to keep those girls single for ever.

“Cool” or “Hip” is nothing but another term for “worldly”.

It would be money well-spent for a student to take a class from Hanson.

i’ve been saying for years that “Cool” is one of the worst things that ever happened to our society.
Parents want to be cool. Artists want to be cool. Teachers want to be cool. Scientists want to be cool.
Biggest trouble is that cool is a feeling, and seeks acceptance by the in-crowd.
Truth, hard work, thrift, discipline etc. all left by the wayside.
