MSNBC: Don't expose Muslim atrocities

Harvard professor doesn't want 'fuel' against Islam revealed

MSNBC’s new golden girl was in a pickle: If someone sees a black person committing rape or domestic violence, should he report it if it makes black people look bad?

Or if Muslims see wife-beating, genital mutilation and childhood sexual abuse, should they just keep it to themselves, because saying something gives ammunition to the “Islamophobes”?

The questions appear to be simple. But they posed a challenge for the host of the new “Melissa Harris-Perry” show when guest Mona Eltahawy talked about her Foreign Policy magazine cover story about abuse of women by men in the Muslim world.

Eltahawy speaks from experience: She had her arms broken in a demonstration in Egypt and was tortured and raped in an Egyptian jail cell.

So she seemed surprised to find Harris-Perry questioning her right to draw attention to “traditions” such as involuntary female circumcision, wife-beating and childhood sexual abuse.

So she seemed surprised to find Harris-Perry questioning her right to draw attention to “traditions” such as involuntary female circumcision, wife-beating and childhood sexual abuse.

“I start with a little bit of trepidation in this conversation,” the host said, “in part because I know some of the critiques of this. The very idea that Western press, those that are not from these nations, who are not Muslim ourselves, who are not part of these traditions can look at your article and say ‘ahhh, look at how horrible those men, or those societies, or that religion is.’

My question is how would this avoidance be any different than what was ignored during the Nazi rise to power in Europe?...........the history and documentation of what the press AND society chose to turn it’s back on is monumental...

Since people, no matter what their culture, must have the truth to navigate reality and to overcome weaknesses and challenges, the denial of truth prevents their growth and maturity and success at life.

It makes eternal children out of those who would otherwise grow up.

One has to look no further than the ghettos in any American city to see proof of this.

D@mn shame that life is tough...but there it is! Get over it!

should he report it if it makes black people look bad?

For postmodernist libtards the narrative that supports their agenda has primacy over the truth.

"We ... [should] give up the correspondence theory of truth, and start treating moral and scientific beliefs as tools for achieving greater human happiness, rather than as representations of the intrinsic nature of reality."

Richard Rorty

Too many idiots in the MSM confuse “Race” and “Culture”...

“Race” is your DNA pattern and shoudl never be used as a “casual disqualifier” of ANYONE.

“Culture” is the programming your brain recieves when growing up and can be constructive or destructive and is ALWAYS grounds for critical thought and review at ANY time.

We have largely ended Racism in America and most all of the 1st world.

Racism is alive an well in the Third World.

However “Culture” has become the “sacred cow” in terms of libtards and they try to say that people are racists when they are being critical of the “programming” ie. culture of others when other people question the destructive tendancies of other people’s programming.

“We have largely ended Racism in America and most all of the 1st world.”

Then what do you call Eric Holder throwing out the New Black Panther voter intimidation case saying “Don’t disparage my people?”

This is state sponsored racsim at the highest level of a first world government.

Where do you get your “news” from?

I should have said “HAD” ended racism as in the racism of the past was ended (White on black racism, jim crow, etc).

Of course I know the dead horse that was white on black racism is constantly being beaten on by the “Post Modern Racists”.

Of course if you listen/read/watch the MSM you would think we are still in the 1950’s in terms of race relations.

In a way we are in the 1950’s (as in racism still exists) but the roles are reversed and the state sponsored racism in the name of “political correctness newspeak” is far far worse.

The professor in this conversation is so admiring of the young people she says brought about the overthrow of Mubarak, and that they are against all these barbaric treatments of women. She also emphasized that it was the young people and not the Muslim Brotherhood who brought about the revolution.

But they didn’t get around to explaining why the MB, and the even more conservative Salafists, received a combined 2/3 of the votes in the parliamentary elections in Egypt. And they are favored in the presidential election, also. Not sure if that’s been held yet or not.

I see what you mean.

I had a discussion with a liberal acquaintance from High School on facebook. He sees himself as a righteous, truth seeking reporter. He writes on some obscure liberal rag in Colorado.

He was slamming “Faux News”, and I informed him that Fox was the ONLY one to expose the New Black Pamper voter case.

He said it was no big deal, because of slavery. I said, “So two wrongs make a right?” - no response.

I expose liberl hypocrisy at every opportunity, but they are so brainwashed it’s really a waste of time to share truth with those that have no passion for it.

Joseph Goebbles would not print news that would make white Germans look bad either.

We have the moral equivalent of Nazis running our country, with the propaganda media enabling their evil.

Our founding fathers would already be shooting by now.

The original motto of the US was:

“Rebellion against tyrants is obedience to God.”

Liberals look at conservatives and they see people who resist gay marriage. Liberals hate us for that.

Liberals look at Muslims who believe it OK to kill homosexuals - and they’re fine with that...

Liberals are nuts.
