I suppose that State AG’s will extend courtesy “verifications” to each other under the full faith and credit clause but I doubt they are enforceable...especially in HI’s 9th Circuit zone.
When I did background investigations, we used two terms for birth records: Verified as in I saw the original birth record. Cooberated as in from another record such as an employment record or school record. For certain investigations, only verified was accepted but that was for something as important as a top secret clearance for code access not something as trivial as being president of the US (sarcasm off now).
