It proves that liberals don’t have a clue what stand your ground is all about. They can’t distinguish between stand your ground and the general right to self defense.

The final chain of events may have started with Mr. Zimmerman getting out of his car, but it ended with Mr. Martin on top of him bashing the life out of him. The latter is not a consequence of the former. Mr. Zimmerman had every right to get out of his car for any reason. Mr. Zimmerman had no obligation to stay in his car and being assaulted is not a foreseeable outcome of leaving a vehicle in your own neighborhood. It may be that some other outcome would have been reached had he stayed in the car, but the outcome that was reached was entirely due to Mr. Martin's actions, as far as we know today, based on the evidence.

Oh, it will go to trial. The powers to be MUST appease the Jackson and Sharpton crowd. No matter how weak the case, it will go to trial.
