Actually, you "fixed" a perfectly good statement of fact by removing some useful data and substituting a measure of redundancy.
Every bomber who kills people is a "homicide bomber." A suicide bomber rids the earth of his own sorry self, as well (saving us the trouble). And, contrary to some odd set of beliefs, there is no glory in suicide.
So, in the interest of accuracy, leave it alone. Don't let emotion triumph over logic and reason. That's the leftists' job, not ours. :)
