And here is Krystal helping them...

I'm saying it again till I get on nerves. That was just the darn weirdest editorial...makes no sense at all. Somebody somewhere, and somebody not on our side, had to give Krystal some kind of impetus to write such a thing.

Cause yer right. Put Hillary on that ticket and the Dems pick up a lot of Hillary's former fans and maybe some precious Independents.

His reason for writing such a thing is so outta there....like "don't you want to win against a more formidible team?"

Come on! I'll win against a weak team and be quite content.

Indeed.

I am on record of being suspicious of Kristol since 1999. Anyone can look up my posts.

As near as I can determine, he supports whoever he thinks will give him a job or invite him to the White House for advice.

Example: He supported Colin Powell for president for months back in 1999, until it became obvious that Powell wasn’t going to run. Then he switched to McCain. Why didn’t he support Bush?

Because he was Quayle’s chief of staff (which he got by maneuvering the original guy out) and was distrusted by James Baker for being a leaker to the media. They wouldn’t even let him in staff meetings after a while. (Quayle says in his autobiography “Standing Firm” that is was because Baker et al were intimidated by Kristol’s intellect. This is why Dan Quayle needs to stay in Arizona. He BELIEVED the line Kristol fed him.) Kristol also was responsible for the Murphy Brown flap, which I heard him admit to Brit Hume on Fox. So the Bush people wanted nothing to do with Kristol.

After the Florida recount, Kristol suddenly became very pro-Bush. This lasted until the China spy plane incident. After Powell negotiated the release of the crew, Kristol wrote an article called “Our Profound National Humiliation” attacking Powell (whom he had supported, remember) and Bush. And ever after that Kristol would snipe and chip at the Bush people.

I also believe Kristol was responsible for the Jeffords jump which changed the balance in the Senate. Jeffords got the idea that he wasn’t going to get the dairy subsidy and that Bush was going to backstab him. That was never the case and the Bush people to this day can’t figure out why he thought that. Kristol was on Fox with the “big news” of the jump as an exclusive, complete with his possum-like grin. No one supposedly knew that Daschle had been in talks with Jeffords, but somehow Kristol knew, and I am convinced it is because he initiated the entire thing in revenge.

Now, here he is trying to give the democrats good ideas. Why would that be? Because Romney is a sharp business guy who has learned to size people up and there is no way on God’s green earth he is going to give Kristol any sort of power or influence. Plus there are a lot of Bush people on Romney’s team, who know ALL about Kristol.

So in his typical pattern, he would rather engineer a loss for Romney and get some crumbs from Hillary, than stand up for what is good for the country.

Did I mention I despise him?
