“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

These men are blemishes at your LOVE feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm-—shepards who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. Jude 1:12

Our Founding Fathers gave us all the weapons we need to protect our Country from another Monarchy. Whether that Monarchy is a Dictator, a King or Premier they had the Biblical wisdom to protect us from the enslavement we are beginning to witness. America has allowed her freedom to be compromised for decades from both Democrat and Repub presidents and it is time to begin to use the ultimate weapons our Founders gave us, our votes. We are witnessing some of the most dramatic votes in histoir against both Parties and against the common enemy, communism. We are watching entrenched corrupt politicians falling at a growing pace as a sleeping giant has awaken.

The Continental Army fought against a tyrant taxing them into poverty with guns and bullets and the knowledge of hanging if caught. They fought against the strongest most powerful army the world had ever known. They fought against all odds giving up their families and livelihoods to fight for the right to live their lives as free men and women. They believed that all men are created equal by their Creator and should be allowed to pursue their own dreams of life, liberty and happiness. After they faced loss after loss after loss they finally crossed the Delaware and did the unthinkable that Christmas Eve and beat the Prussian garrison at Trenton. This was more a symbolic victory than military in that Washington proved his rag tag army could defeat the undefeatable as the Prussian mercenaries were the Special Forces of their day.

After the war ended there was a void of leadership since there was no Country in history which had the people govern themselves to model itself. When they chose George Washington they chose him as the first King of America and he said no, he wanted to be the executive leader. This is when those brilliant men decided we would become a Representative Republic where the power would be diversified across the states so the populated NE states would not be able to dominate the agrarian states which were less populated. What they designed from a cross between Greek and Roman history was a truly brilliant form of gummit which contained a fire alarm controlled by the people if they needed to break the glass. America has become a raging inferno and the alarm is ringing. We have gone from the largest loaner Country in the world to the greatest debtor in a few short decades.

This has occurred from a lack of fiscal control or responsibility. We are seeing the results of nearly a hundred years of piling program after program and agency after agency added to the already burgeoning budgets which made the District of Corruption larger exponentially. These budgets and agencies grew by hiring more and more union employees who expected their salaries to increase exponentially too. We are now experiencing that burden as it enslaves the working class to a larger portion of their salaries going to this insatiable appetite. The problem with this gummit is we have the wagon trying to pull the oxen rather than feeding the oxen to keep it healthy and pull strong and hard. The occupiers want to eat the oxen to feed the wagon.

Rather than having to fight with guns and bullets the Continental Army gave us a nuclear weapon, the vote. Today’s Continental Army is fighting with words and truth against the most powerful army ever amassed. The army we are fighting has been built over decades to promote communism in America and around the world and has developed a web of deceit and propaganda. This army has built a series of fortresses in the schools, academia, old media, Hollyweird, the unions, Acorn groups, environmentalism and many churches which are all controlled by the CommieCrat Party. These armies believe and have been invincible until a small group of rag tag freedom fighters stepped forward and punched them in the snout with the Tea Party or today’s Continentals with a series of political victories shocking the world.

The Red army has been set back on its heels as their main propaganda weapons of Green Energy and global warming have been completely destroyed as viable arguments. Americans are waking up to the fact that their ideas lead to poverty, enslavement and joblessness. They lead to the dead end of a Julia lifestyle of waiting for your gummit check every month using their system to enslave you more and more. As the gummit owns more and more of your life from cradle to grave your life has less and less meaning while you become more and more dependent until you are living a completely bovine existence. This is where they want you to be since you will become more likely to vote for them for fear of losing your check. You then keep them in power until they eventually have DeathCare which will literally say who lives and who dies.

The Continental army is like the boy in Tiananmen Square facing down the tanks. They are standing in front of the most powerful armies in the world and holding up an old and decaying piece of paper screaming, “READ IT!” They are holding up the most brilliant piece of paper man has ever written which gives them the diminishing Right of Free Speech. They are destroying that most powerful army with the strength of words and ideas which are reflected in our Declaration. They are exposing the lies of Green Energy and how it leads to less and more expensive energy as well as the crony corruption. They are also showing what an absolute failure gummit is compared to private industry in every instance and how regulation is strangling both businesses and individuals alike.

The Continentals are fighting on the internet and talk radio exposing the overt communism our country is turning to without distinguishing between Parties. They are discussing the scandals openly that are hidden by old media such as Solyndra, General Motors nationalization, the oil moratorium and harassment by this regime and the failure of raising taxes to punish the achievers. This Army of real Americans has captured the imagination of the world. While the world reaches out with shaky desperate hands for America to once more become their Shining City of Freedom and Hope. They reach up in hopes of her once again standing for the freedoms she once enjoyed and could have again if she would turn from her wicked ways and back towards freedom and liberty.

Once again America needs to defeat King George and his Dragoons at Yorktown to have another Continental Congress that would dismantle this oppressive gummit and all its tyrannical agencies. If an agency isn’t for freedom and liberty it will be closed and the people fired to be retrained in the private sector. Unions need to be a completely optional enrollment and the members given their pensions in private 401Ks. Hollywhacked, union bosses, old media as well as academia need to have an immediate 75% tax rate so they can truly appreciate what socialism can do for them. It is time for them to practice what they preach. America needs to begin to truly manage her resources and have sensible productive practices put in place to maximize our great resources God has blessed us with and bring those jobs and entrepeneurs back home. When these changes are made we will see our debts disappear, Americans once again become producers rather than users and our City will be Shining Brighter than ever as a beacon of hope seen around the world for decades to come.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily mine, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Morning AB, All….

Been a tough week here in the swamps but never mind.

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread.

I must say I’ve had so much amusement with this Elizabeth Warren story and she is the gift that keeps on giving..

Now she contributed plagiarized recipes to “Pow-Wow-Chow”, a native American cookbook, dear Lord in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, how much can one woman lie before we all agree that she is a liar?

I am declaring today National Elizabeth Warren Lie Day. Today we can lie with impunity for if Ms. Warren can, why can’t we?

I begin….I am a size 5.

Speaking of….well here’s a smile….on June 2 I will be a model in my church’s annual fashion show.

Well I dunno what I was thinking at the time but when I was asked I kind of snorted and thought somebody was pulling my leg. A leg with considerable -sized thighs I might add.

“We need bigger models,” the lady told me, as tactfully as she could.

Well yeah. Curvy ladies need to wear clothes too, made sense to me.

So tomorrow I go to, get this, Coldwater Creek right here in the swamps in our famous outlets in Delaware where we have NO sales tax and it works real well for us. Down the road in Merryland, O’Malley is working real hard to bankrupt that state and I thank God I got out of there.

Ladies on this thread will know Coldwater Creek, if not the men.

I will be walking the runway in TWO outfits….in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost…..

Pray for me please as of all the things I thought I’d ever do in my life, walking a runway was never in my list.

In the preview on F&F, Wallace said the appearances of Ryan and Goolsbee would be in the form of a debate between the two.

It could get interesting. Ryan seems to be the most knowledgeable person in Washington on budget issues.

The Continental army is like the boy in Tiananmen Square facing down the tanks.

A small factual correction: it was a grown man in the Square, who later “disappeared”—some say his throat was cut in the dead of night.

To the broader point—

As bray says, this is COMMUNISM we oppose. You can page through the last 120 years or so of history. What you will find is few occasions on which entrenched communism was done away via elections or democracy. It happened but not often.

I wish I could be as positive about the rise of a new force in electoral politics (the Tea Party) as bray is. But the history of the 20th century in Eastern Europe, S. America, Africa and southeast Asia—and even in Russia and China—is rife with the short-lived rise of opposition forces like the Tea Party and their eventual demise.

Communists, even our own Demoviks, have their ways of dealing with “democracy.”

So as we wait for shows to come on, here’s a thought. I read an editorial by Bill Krystal of all people, link below.

http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/why-not-best_645186.html?nopager=1

In this editorial Krystal urges Obama to drop Biden and to pick up Hillary.

I begin to scratch my aluminum-foiled head. Why on earth would Bill Kristol be wasting bandwidth worrying about the Democratic ticket?

His argument is that the Obamer ticket is a weak team, especially the Joe Biden part. He then asks if we-meaning Republicans/Conservative types-would be happy winning against such a hapless duo.

I read and I’m mentally screaming...YES! I’D LOVE TO WIN AGAINST SUCH A HAPLESS DUO, WHY NOT?

He goes into great detail about why Hillary would make a more formidible VP choice than Biden and I continue to scratch head and...

...well how darn much did Kristol get paid for this thing? Who paid him? I’m thinking the Hillary campaign.

Cause it makes no sense to me.

Wallace to Goolsbee: Can you name ONE CEO whose job is NOT creating wealth for investors?

Goolsbee: uuuuhhhhh. I agree with the Obama election teams assertion that Bain Capitol is EEEEVVVVVVIIIILLLLL and Romney is the reason.

Ryan: Romney wasn’t even at Bain when the example in question was being closed. Obama is giving money to greenies who are losing money and filing for bankruptcy. Some companies succeed; some companies fail.

From the get go, Sunday FOX "News" pimps Romney and
faux Romney issues arranged ... for FOX's Romney.
The panel today is said to include Tokyo Rove
who has long supported the backstabber Romney
against conservatives.

FOX News makes Romney the candidate when he is not yet.

And all the DNC, GOPe, and RomneyBOTs are in glee.

The News of the Week? Fox begins
as Romney's lawyer defending the criticisms of
Romney as a vulture corporatist.

Romney-PIMP Wallace interviews Goolsbee and
shapes the issue as involving "all CEOs".
Goolsbee correctly suggests that Wallace focus
on what Romney actually did, so RomneyAnchor-wife-in Training
Wallace interrupts him and focuses only on the result.

Goolsbee: "It depends how they did it".

[Millions at that point remember Seamus on the roof].

Wallace then calls on Ryan to be Romney's second lawyer
who willingly obliges. Romney was ONLY at Bain for the
good things, but was away for all bad things.

[Do they really believe conservatives are dumber than rocks?]

So it’s Sunday morn and I already went to mass yesterday, sang the songs for the choir. Oh my ...what a story about my church I got...might be I share. Maybe not.

Anyway, can sleep late, until 8 in the am or so, then get up and do my Sunday cooking chores. I love Sundays, enjoy this thread, watch the talk shows, putter around.

6:45 am, the dog, which sleeps in my bedroom, comes out from her hidey hole and begins pacing. She’s ten years old and drinks a lot as they begin to do at that age. Thus she pees a lot. Oncit in a while she pees on the bedroom floor, gotta watch her carefully.

Well I didn’t especially want to get up so early, earlier than my other week days, but I’ll never complain should she tell me she needs to go outside, no sir. So I get up, let her out the back. SHE GOES UNDER THE DECK! She don’t even pee!

Well what hey?

So I call her back, come on JoAnn, you wake me up and don’t even pee? We go back in bedroom, she goes back in hidey hole, I try to sleep.

But this new kitten we got, love him dearly but he’s bad, dear Lord he’s bad. Every morning I got to give him a smidge of Frskies or he shall die any second, he is on his last legs.

Gerald is his name. He thinks I’ve lost my mind getting up and getting him all ready for some Friskies and a puddle of milk, being it’s his last breath and everything. So he begins scratching at my bedroom door and howliing as he has only two, maybe three breaths left before starvation overtakes him.

The dog, meanwhile, gets up once again and once again, now really mad, I let her out back to pee and this time she does. But she pees but a little so whatever had her spooked it wasn’t a full bladder.

Gerald, meanwhile, has to drag his body through the house as he pleads with me for food that he may live another day.

ONE MORE TIME...I go into bedroom, hoping for that one extra hour of sleep.

No go. Dog once again gets up, panting and heaving like she does when she’s scared. Gerald is about to go any second and by now he’s throwing himself at the closed bedroom door.

So I gave it up and got up.

I don’t know what’s wrong with the dog. She’s got amazing hearing, as dogs do. I suspect she heard thunder somewhere as she is terrified of thunderstorms. Or maybe an earthquake.

Y’all remember that earthquake that rocked the east coast? Knocked over a glass on my kitchen counter? Yup, JoAnn heard that and behaved the same way.

As for Gerald, well he’ll live another day as he finally got some Friskies and a puddle of milk, God Bless.

Amazing Factoid. Romney-Pimp Wallace
ALMOST TELLS THE TRUTH!!!!!!!

Wallace: Massachusetts was 47th in job creation.
In response, Ryan visibly gulped and began to lie.

[Wake up conservatives. These people should be Democrats
because of the way they ziplessly lie.]

Ryan makes unfounded claims exactly the opposite
of the facts which are here:
THE REAL DEAL: Massachusetts was 48th in
job creation under bad governor Myth Romney.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Goolsbee criticizes Romney for not creating jobs as governor, etc.

Ironically, Goolsbee is criticizing Romney’s tenure as governor for doing the same kinds of things to shore up the MA economy then that Obama is trying to do now on the National economy. Goolsbee claims Romney’s methods were failures.

Ryan responds that Romney created 40k jobs during his last year in office. The thing hurting our economy is a debt crisis, due to a failure of leadership.

Wallace brings up the 0-99 Senate vote on Obama’s budget proposal.

Watching Goolsbee try to justify and explain the Obama Admin actions and policies it like watching an earthworm try to wiggle across an electrified metal plate.

If the GOP keeps harping on the economy, they could have a winning issue. But, they have to explain the situation in terms the average voter can understand. Ryan seems very capable of explaining things in understandable terms.

Well, slightly retracting my earlier reply to bray today, I will say that if the Demoviks are counting on salvos from Austin Goolsbee to sustain their red-knuckled grip on power they are likely going to have to buy, doctor and forge more votes than might be possible.

Hyperliberal Etch-a-Sketch Romney raised taxes (calling
them ‘fees’) and sank (CATO’s term) the Massachusetts
economy.

CATO:
“* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide

Romney ruined Massachusetts.
Romney also INSTALLED RomneyCARE and Gay Marriage

At the G8 Summit, Barry used a term that was fairly cryptic: “fiscal consolidation”. WTH does THAT mean? We will all share our budgets, debt, and spending? Sounds like a new spin on an old Communist concept of ‘redistribution of wealth’ but at the ‘global community’ level. When the community-organizer-in-chief sits among a group, he can’t help but to organize them, I guess.

Brilliant as always, Bray! Thank you both for the highlight of my Sunday mornings.

One thing, though - green energy and global warming haven’t been completely destroyed yet, unfortunately. We have to diligently stay on this and work like hell to take back the Senate, put more conservatives in both houses and get the BHO scourge out of our White House. Then we need to keep the heat on the next POTUS (I still pray it’s not Romney).

He didn’t have a Republican congress pushing him in MA. Don’t forget the last 2 years of the Bush admin were controlled by a Dem Congress that went on a spending spree and never allowed a audit of Fannie Mae which killed the economy.

In most cases, congress has far more to do with losing jobs than the President/Gov does. I doubt Romney wrote Romneycare, he only signed what the congress wrote.

Oregon is as communist as MA and I would kill for a Gov as conservative as Romney. We have a full blown Marxist but our congress kept him under control.

In this editorial Krystal urges Obama to drop Biden and to pick up Hillary.

That's very revealing advice from Krystal. Revealing of his intentions I mean.

I think Hillary on the ticket covers two things: 1) She's much stronger than dipstick Biden and 2) If Hussein's numbers continue to drop and the ineligibility question picks up steam (as it seems to be doing), Hussein can be yanked by the Dems and replaced with Hillary.

And here is Krystal helping them...

Thanks! I have to wait another hour for FNS to come on here. Ryan’s terrific. I wouldn’t mind seeing him as VP or even POTUS someday but I’d hate to lose him in the House today, where he’s doing so well.

Thank you so much. I am now an official FReditorial writer. Laz and Jim have started an editorial page they want to promote and I was asked to contribute to it. This was my first submission yesterday.

Ryan would be an excellent VP and keep the focus on the economy and budget. He has all the facts and has a way of saying it in a way people understand. Unfortunately he is too White and Male for our victim class society. It might offend a minority like women who outnumber men.

The big media simply wants ratings to sell advertisements.
More people would watch t.v. news shows if Hillary were
on the ticket. If Obama/ Clinton would win, the Clintons would work behind the scenes secretly to remove Obama from office.

Meet the Press, Durbin vs. Ryan, Gregory asks about Boehner’s comments about spending cuts vs. increasing debt limit.

Durbin was surprised that Boehner reminded voters of what happened last summer. It is not responsible. Promotes Simpson/Bowles commission approach.

Ryan supports Bowles/Simpson approach to closing tax loopholes, but not approach to medicaire costs.

A reminder on Goolsbee, this was May 2011, keep in mind the Unemployment Number is down because there are less available jobs;

Goolsbee isn’t the only one saying more than 2 million private sector jobs added in the last 14 months; State run media regurgitates it with no clarification.

“That means over the last 14 months,” Obama said, “we’ve added more than 2 million jobs in the private sector.”

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney pointed out to reporters that April was the 14th consecutive month of growth in private sector employment, for a total of 2.1 million jobs

McCain didn’t fight back properly during the last campaign.
Romney must fire up the people to win this election. The voters need some beef. Where is the beef? Obama will attack with everthing he has; even lies and deception.
Romney must speak out or he will lose like McCain.

You’ve made your points quite well, but I do have a question.

Only two horses in the finale have any chance of winning. What then?

Go have fun on the runway and being with your friends, and there’s nothing like being yourself and having the confidence to stay focused on what you want to do, in other words don’t let what others may think distract you from your fashion show.
