Unfair? "Unfair" sounds like whining, and should never be used in response to an Obama ad.

How about growing a pair and calling it "dishonest," "deliberately misleading," a "desperate lie from a President who once again demonstrates has not even a passing familiarity with something called the truth"?

It's the difference between punching back when a bully attacks vs. running home in tears to tell Mommy.

Republicans need to make clear that they are willing to fight. You don't do that by complaining that something is "unfair."

Exactly right. And the only way you fight back is ‘in kind’ and just AS dirty as your opponent is fighting. That’s the ONLY way you win.

That is correct. Republicans too often pull punches and try to play games ("your turn our turn your turn"). It never worked, and their inability to stand up to the democrat machine is what has placed us in the unenviable position we are in now. But even more so today are we fighting against an opponent with no regard for reputation, popular opinion, or political tides -- our opponent today is a pure ideological monster. His recent endorsement of gayness is a good example of this.

If the republicans continue to play games and play nice (a la McCain), and quibble about their principles instead of planting the banner and taking a firm stand, they will lose their base and turn off the swing vote. When will they realize that pandering to the left will never help them, but only hurt them? They need to stake out a position and hold it. Thats the only way they will win.

Regards,

Cope
