The worst sort of folk I’ve met are those in churches who feel like they have to be the big “anti hypocrite” sheriffs in their churches,,,,those who feel like they are qualified to judge the “supposedly judgmental”.
Human behaviour is complicated and the Holy Spirit works in mighty stange ways in folks, “raising up valleys and lowering mountains and making straight highways” in the deserts of folks hearts for our Lord to walk upon. Proverbs says “as iron sharpens iron, people sharpen each other like knives.”
A mature Christian can seem unpleasant at times to a younger Christian with a lot to learn and having a “Piss and vinegar” attitude that needs to be purified from his or her life. There is a tendency on the count of such immature ones to project their own worst inner attitudes on such mature Christians.
If you are referring to me in that condescending way, then you could not be more wrong! For one, I am far from young, and I think you just displayed my point perfectly!
