I would send my kids to school with a picture of a teacher being shot by invading Russian paratroopers such as from Red Dawn.
Its the parents job to re-school their kids of the wrong training from most schools.
It turned out to be the armour car companys employee picking up the cafeterias money.

There must be big money in school lunches...
Turning it back on the libtards is the only way to fight this madness.
It wasn’t many years before that when those of us who took the NRA gun safety course (taught in the school) used to bring .22 cal rifles to school, drop them in the industrial arts class, and they’d sit there all day. We would come at the end of the day to attend the NRA class, and the rifles were there waiting for us. Nobody ever messed with them...never any incident. Of course, if a dozen 12 year-old boys came to school carrying unloaded .22 cal rifles over their shoulders we’d see a unit of Special Forces troops assaulting the school within minutes.
In defense of Avocados everywhere, I find your comments offense and we have determined that you Sir, may not attend the Guacamole Festival this year!
I think we'd better withhold judgement on what's going on until we find out what happened in October....
I hear you, Lancey.
Back when I went to high school in east Texas, my friends and I would take our shotguns in the trunk so we could go dove hunting after school.
Before that, when I was in elementary school, I can remember my friend Mike bringing his .22 that he got for Christmas to school for show and tell. He demonstrated how the action worked and how to load it, then it was passed around the room where we all got to shoulder it (aimed away from other people, as the teacher incorporated a gun safety lesson).
As far as I know, Mike, nor anyone in that class which, by the way, heard that JFK was killed over the same elementary school intercom has killed anybody with a gun.
Quanah
I’d like to know where that photo of the big kitty (and what kind of cat it is) was taken.
Educators give Stupid People a Bad Name!
You are correct, and I humbly apologize to all avocados everywhere. They certainly deserve more credit than that.
May I please attend the avocado festival now???? Reminds me....have 4 Haas avocados in the kitchen as we speak, fairly screaming to be made into yummy guacamole...:)
Anyone with four ripe Avocados is certainly welcome, now that we have your apology.
The world has changed beyond my ability to absorb it these last 15 years.
So true. My high school had a room with the word "ARMORY" painted on the door in military stencil.
(California or New Jersey, I could see this, but not in deep East Texas)
Government schools are government schools no matter where they are located.
Once a school takes federal dollars the federal government is in control and the parents are not..........
This is why I hate zero tolerance. Stupidity reigns over common sense.
what happened in October..
I was wondering that too as it seems to have bearing on the case.
A toy gun from the prop dept? It all started going downhill when “teachers” became “educators”!
Looks like the president of the school board sells sun glasses.

Teach has been watching too many old cop shows. If that had been a real firearm, which is almost surely what the teacher was thinking...hoo boy. Never bum rush an armed man, folks.
At any rate, based upon the article, this is a garbage decision by the administration. One suspects they think Tindol was "guilty but we couldn't prove it" in the prior incident and a little payback was involved here.
Now, I will allow for the possibility that there's more to this story than is being reported, but unless I see something definitive to challenge the kid's take on things, this is BS.
Not in my part of north eastern California where we still have gun racks in our trucks.
My late aunt who passed away a few years ago, lived in Center, Texas and I spent a lot of time there over the years inluding a long summer there in 1962. It is a small, rural, East Texas town. I guess the liberal teachers have infiltrated everywhere now. Sad.
That's true. My wife is a teacher part time at a small Christian school and we see a lot of that even in that. Even private schools aren't really safe any more. It is more and more up to the parents and Conservative teachers to stand up. Get on school boards, be involved. Don't just be a spectator.
