Well, I may be dumber than Biden but that’s a pretty high standard to meet.
I didn’t say I believed that Biden misspoke... just that he was perfectly capable of it.
I heard some fairly respectable pundit advance that theory yesterday and I was just tossing it out there for discussion.
I would love Brit Hume but I don’t think he would do it.

I agree. You have provided an excellent timeline and I also would point out that Biden’s interview was pre-recorded, not live. If Biden misspoke, there was ample opportunity to have him walk it back.
The whole thing was a set up, as you said.
The question is what will their next little kabuki dance be? I am of the mind that we need to start pointing out how they refuse to talk about the stuff most Americans are worried about. The media either needs to quit working in tandem with the administration or at least add a disclaimer.
I said at the time that Stephanopolous was hired on ABC that This Week would never be anything but an arm of the DNC. I was correct.
They have lied for so long that they now believe their own propaganda.

Well since you brought up the subject...first let's establish that me mind is still rapier sharp and wittier than wit itself. But sometimes I forget stuff that I've known all my life. Like I couldn't remember Romney's name, finally had to ask husband...."Who's the guy running against Obamer?" I ask. Husband looks up puzzled, "You mean Romney?" he asks but in doing so gives me the answer.
Doesn't happen all that often but it's very jarring when it happens. Probably something to do with age but go on, not only am I still rapier sharp in my mental skills, I'm not all that old.

So I have to put hands on my hips and ask....why aren't the Republicans out pointing this out? For goodness sake at least why didn't Reince Prebus bring it up during his eight minutes on MTP this morning.
You mean Reince couldn't have just leaned in, resting elbow on the desk top. "Gregory (see, I forget his first name as I type), I want to point out to all the MTP viewers that your interview with Biden was pre-recorded last week. I'm sure someone at the WH, on the admin PR team, knew before that segment had Biden declaring adoration for loving couples marrying who they love. Just want the MTP viewers to know that when they hear this admin declaring Biden did a gaffe".
Why couldn't the head of the RNC point that out?

I almost barfed with Andrew Sullivan blubbering about how wonderful Obama's decision made him feel about himself and his "partner."
Of course, I remembered Sullivan's repeated accusations that Trig was really the result of an incestuous affair with Todd and his daughter Bristol. He published several articles making that accusation and started a very painful (for the Palins) topic in the media.
Did Matthews ever come to the Palin's defense in this horrid matter?
It's unChristian, I guess, but may Sullivan and Chris Matthews rot in hell for eternity.
