Well... Here we are.
Damn I hate being right all the time...
Does anyone know if the driver has the option to refuse the search? I wonder if they start stopping cars for the purpose of a search, if the driver of that car would have that right?
I know it would probably mean a lot of red tape, and possibly an arrest—but I’m wondering if it would be worth it in the long run if it happened to you....
Correct. I remember those days...there were a handful of us warning against stuff like the “Patriot Act,” and for the most part, our warnings fell on deaf ears.
Sad isn’t it.
And yet, the majority here will say we are just to negative and to shut up.
Like we were told the CIA didn't intentionally give hundreds of totally unsuspecting Americans LSD in the 1950s. All while government agents watched the innocent through two way mirrors, as they winked and nodded as these people thought they were going completely insane.
If the government is capable of this, they are capable of anything.
At least you are humble, so you have that going for you.
