Your papers.... please
In another 10 years we'll be getting anal inspections when we ride a train or go through a toll booth.
America has become something akin to a street whore, willingly taking on the infection of Mohamed, and giving up all dignity.
Someone in Obama’s administration must have read Matt Brackens “Enemies: Foreign and Domestic” written ten years ago. In EFAD, The government created FIST to do highway checks.
If you haven’t read any of Matt’s (Travis McGee) books, you are missing something. Start with EFAD and read them all.
ping!
I hope I come upon one.....
This unconstitutional interaction will make headlines.... I guarantee it.
I seem to recall a case regarding refusal to cooperating with a search or telling them to go get a warrant, then escalates to probable cause. It was just a few months ago we were discussing it right here on FR.
they used the word terrorist numerous times, and then Timothy McVeigh. Always a boggeyman.

That’s right, Papers Please
They pull me over, they better have a warrant or proof I’ve violated a traffic law. If it’s a “random” search, they won’t like the response.
I will NOT tolerate being treated as such. They try to arrest me and I’ll make it worth the charges. TSA had better start backing the hell off before it gets real ugly.
It appears that they are testing this out at truck weigh stations where all commercial drivers have to stop anyway. Adding these random searches to that routine.
I do not have a problem with them asking folks to be aware and to report actviity...but I believe most American already do that.
I do have a problem with these warrantless, random searches.
If and when they start setting up road blocks along the highways and stop everyone doing the same, is when they will have problems with John Q public.
That will be coming. Any of us with conservative congressmen (and that’s a mority of us) or Senators (hopefully to be a majority soon) must contact them in the strongest terms and complain about this infringement of our rights and violation of the constitution.
No probable cause, warrantless, infringement on our right to travel simply because we are traveling. That leads to abject tyranny...of course, for the “good” of us all.

You are free to travel anywhere in America although the US G’mint will assign you a minder.
Otherwise, San Fran is hoping for random governmental cavity checks.
The frogs are in the pot, the temp is high, boiling is not too far away.
So...when do we jump?
They need papers for everything, so why not while driving on the highways? Just show your paper and get going, citizen.
It doesn’t help that the MADD maniacs have helped to start random drunk driving checkpoints. THAT shouuld have been stopped long ago. I frequently count how many evil drunk drivers they catch in my area. It always seems to be about 1% of drivers in a checkpoint. No right to freely travel without prob=ving one’s innocence for what, 1% of drivers?
Tennessee Becomes First State To Fight Terrorism Statewide
Important news, but hardly breaking.
Most people when seeing something really odd or suspicious would make a call anyway
The state promoting snitching on one another is one of the hallmarks of a police state...
It's one of the reason the reunification of East and West Germany was far more difficult than thought
East Germans had a built in distrust of being completely honest thinking it might be used against in the future...
“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”

Ron Paul was one of only three Republicans to vote against the act. Dr. Paul consistently works to dismantle it.
This is nothing new peeps. Just drive the I-5 north from San Diego to Los Angeles sometime...
