The Federal Election Commission this week struggled again with Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein's request for a loosening of the usual fundraising limits, in the wake of the massive embezzlement by former campaign treasurer Kinde Durkee.
The upshot: Feinstein didn't get the go-ahead she sought, but neither did the six-member FEC come to a official consensus decision on the key question. There could be more discussions to come.

Unfortunately, Feinstein is a mortal lock in commieFornia, barring death or new scandal, whether or not she gets this FEC dispensation.
The only reason she wants this from the FEC is so that she can play philanthropist, dispensing extra campaign money to allies who DO need it ... in return for ... who knows.
OT: I’ve long said that Feinstein should have announced her retirement-after-this-term a few years ago, then groomed and endorsed a successor. As it is, she seems set on leaving the Senate only if it’s feet first.
