i tend to believe in times of economic strife and worry people tend to shift conservative, its happening all around us. Peoples attitudes have shifted in the last few months towards a more conservative attitude.
That would make sense. There are so many free radicals in our society right now - it reminds me of 1968. All we need is for the radicals to tore it up at the rat convention and maybe the so-called president deciding to go ahead and bomb some other country, as Johnson did in escalating the bombing of the North, and people are going to be ready for some law and freaking order. They’re going to be thirsting for it. Ay Gawd, you could get a real strongman in there right now but our whole field was kind of milquetoast.
