Wow, you actually are taking the WAPO bs and running with it? The dog meme is just about as lame....

This just makes you look like a tool of the Obama/MSM re-election campaign.

This post is literally better suited for Democratic Underground than Free Republic. You should consider where your dislike of Romney is taking you.

So Backstabber Romney APOLOGIZED for an alleged incident which, you claim, "did not happen". Romney is clearly delusional.

If you read the entire quote or saw the video you would know that Romney said he didn't recall the WaPo incident. What he DID apologize for was other pranks he knows he did.

WaPo is backpeddling on the story.

Most people did really dumb, thoughtless things in High School—myself included. Its just another example of bias that the MSM will go all the way back to HS to dig up dirt on Romney, but won’t touch Obama’s past (pre 2007) in any way, shape, or form. The question is: are most voters smart enough to see through it? I’d like to think so, but most people have a whitewashed vision of themselves and like to feel superior to others.

"...Romney must show he’s not the teen bully critics now say he was.."

When MUST Obama "show he's not" the anti-American, pro-Muslim, pro-Communist he was groomed his entire life to be?

This is silly, everytime the media/obama attack MR it backfires.
Dog on roof=obama ate dog
Bullied kid=obama calling kid a Tom and pushing Coretta

Every childish attack makes barry look worse

I listened to NPR this morning. They are not retracting. In fact, they are bringing up that multiple classmates are confirming the story and Romney is clearly not denying it, and even saying he admits he did "stupid" things in High School (don't we all).

His Richy Rich perception is increased with this one.

I'm really glad that this came out before the nomination process completed.

To be clear, what he did in HS is not a concern (short of selling drugs). But I believe it will be with a lot of voters. Many will see him as Biff Tannon.

I don’t like Romney, but picking on a homo fag moved him up a notch or two in my book!

More to the point as much as I don’t like Romney, this is an orchestrated attack originated by the whitehouse. This story comes out a day after his excellency does his waffle. The press is nothing but stenographers (cannot take credit for that one, someone said it on TV last night) in that they just put out the party line, unsubstantiated.

I cannot say which pillar of our Republic I hate more: the democRAT party or the MSM. In fact, they are the same thing I guess.

Pretty obvious that Biden's over-the-skis blurtation on Sunday led to Zero's premature evolution on Wednesday. That in turn meant that the trigger got pulled on the Romney bullying-homophobe WaPo story before it could be vetted at all - even by MSM standards.

I think you've got it. And how much more obvious can it be that JournoList exists in some new form? Obama "evolves" and ta-da - an above-the-fold piece comes out on Page One of the Washington Post designed to imply that Romney may have been a "gay basher". Meanwhile we know almost NOTHING about Obama's youth (or adulthood for that matter) other than the carefully scripted fiction of his "autobiography". The MSM did more reporting about Joe the Plumber's background.

I missed the corresponding story four years ago that “Straight-laced and squeaky clean Barack Obama
must show he’s not the drug-addled communist his own memoirs say he was”. It’s only Romney being slammed this time, but I’d still like some journalistic integrity and balance. Why is it only republicans whose failings are news?

so the MSM, which totally ignored Obammas shady past, couldnt be bothered to even consider checking his status as an American, is now digging up high school dirt on Romney to see if he ran with scissors or skipped study hall.

FWIW, an military buddy of mine grew up on the Wind River Reservation near Riverton, Wyoming. A popular sport for male bonding of the local cowboys and Indians was to go into town on a Saturday night, lasso longhairs and give them the sheep sheer treatment. Sometimes it was fueled by alcohol, sometimes it was just for fun.

The local law enforcement people were very worried once when a gang of motorcycle hippies from Denver threatened to ride up one summer night and teach the whole town a lesson.

The local cowboys and Indians were waiting for them and a fight ensured. No injuries beyond a few scratches and bruises, but the final outcome was one broken storefront window and a motorcycle gang of newly minted short-haired hippies limping out of town southbound on highway #789 to the raucous singing of a combined cowboy and Indian chorus.

Shearing hippies was evidently a fairly popular pass time in that era, especially in Rocky Mountain ranching towns.

the media isn’t fooling anybody anymore, except those that want to be fooled. The next story about alleged misdeeds will come out again in time for the next weekend news cycle and pretty soon, people will have to ask about Obama’s past and the media’s deafening silence will be it’s final undoing.

I’ve been saying this for two years, this election will not just be a referendum on Obama and his brand of socialism but one of the media as well. They will be rebuked with extreme prejudice but they will not go quietly. I expect at least a few claims of closeted homosexuality including a few sightings of Gloria All-Red and homely women claiming he made them feel uncomfortable and some digs at the LDS church.

In 1964 after 6th grade basketball practice, I was depanced by 6 guys in the school yard as a new id in town. That was it. My initiation as the new kids in school.

Now, about that dyed blond hair over one eye in 1963? I tend not to care about Cranbrook kids born with silver spoons in their collective asses.
