Heard him on Joe Pags yesterday on WOAI. I got the impression he was spitting out his “proven record of” talking points as fast as he could. Turned me off a bit, as did his series of ads touting his dad’s experiences in Cuba as somehow making Cruz a better candidate. OTOH, I think Dewhurst has been in Texas politics way too long.

My problem with Dewhurst isn’t over abortion. My problem with Dewhurst was his killing of the bills in the Texas legislature pertaining to illegal immigration and enforcement.

Within about 90 minutes of Sarah Palin's endorsement of Texas Senate insurgent Ted Cruz on Thursday, rival David Dewhurst answered with a new TV spot in which former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee again vouches for the lieutenant governor and stresses his anti-abortion record.Bwahahahaha! That'll show 'em. /s
