Dear Friends,
The Tea Party Express had an amazing week last week thanks to all your support and involvement and would like to thank you. Everyday our buses traveled to a different city in this great nation rallying conservatives. I think you can agree that the Tea Party is answering our critics and is just as passionate and energized as we were in 2010 and are poised to have another banner year at the ballot box in 2012. We wanted to share with you some of the highlights of the last week that were made possible through your support and participation. Tea Party spokesman Lloyd Marcus speaking at the beginning of the Tea Party Expresses' 6th nation-wide bus tour, "Restoring the American Dream", in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where we announced our 6th U.S. Senate endorsement of Tom Smith Our chairman Amy Kremer addresses the crowd in Sioux City, Iowa on the second day of our tour. We held multiple rallies in Iowa, for Iowa is a key state in the battle for the White House and U.S. House of Representatives
.
.
We held rallies all across the state of Indiana in support of Tea Party Express endorsed U.S.Senate candidate Richard Mourdock. Here, Mourdock addresses a crowd in Fort Wayne, Indiana
.
.
Tea Party Express endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Jon Bruning addresses the crowd at our Lincoln, Nebraska tour stop
.
At a rally in Kansas City, Missouri, we snapped this behind the scenes picture of our co-founder Howard Kaloogian and Tea Party Express endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman
Amy Kremer addresses a crowd that assembled yesterday at the Texas Capital Statehouse in Austin. We are currently in Texas and are holding rallies throughout the Lone Star State for U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz
U.S. Presidential candidate Ron Paul, U.S. Senator Rand Paul and U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz addressed the Texas-sized crowd and whipped them into a frenzy
As the "Reclaiming the American Dream" bus tour rolls on, each stop aims at engaging voters with candidates and policies that promote pro-growth, free-market solutions to ensure the American Dream can be achieved by anyone. The only way to change this current economic path that is leaving us with a weak recovery, at best, is to change the players and policies that got us here. We started in 2010 and that drive will continue through November of 2012!
We here at the Tea Party Express are guided by our motto of "Restore Liberty - Honor the Constitution" and 6 basic principles:
- No more bailouts
- Reduce the size and intrusiveness of government
- Stop raising our taxes
- Repeal Obamacare
- Cease out-of-control spending
- Bring back American prosperity and jobs

VICTORY! Dear Friends, Last year, the Tea Party Express held a press conference in Indiana along with many local Tea Party groups and endorsed Richard Mourdock for U.S. Senate and announced that one of our top priorities in 2012 would be to defeat RINO U.S. Senator Dick Lugar. With your support and dedication, we did it! Richard Mourdock defeats Dick Lugar! We all should be excited and proud that we sent a message load and clear that the Tea Party is alive and well in 2012. We announced that if our politicians are careless and frivolous with taxpayer's money, we will go after you, no matter what side of the aisle you are on.
Republican Senator Dick Lugar had been sitting in office for more than 35 years, slowly drifting further and further away from the basic ideals conservatives and Republicans are supposed to stand for. Lugar voted for the TARP bailout, voted to bailout Fannie and Freddie, voted against banning earmarks, and has repeatedly voted against cutting wasteful government spending. Now, we can all rejoice that we have a nominee in Richard Mourdock that will stand up for Tea Party values and fiscal responsibility.
Indiana U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock listening to We the People on the Tea Party Express Restoring the American Dream Tour
This was the first Tea Party vs Establishment battle of the cycle and we sent a powerful message to the powers-that-be: WE THE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!
The tea party is not only alive and well, but today we showed we are ready to achieve even more historic election victories in 2012. As we have been saying, tea party supporters are busy in campaigns for conservatives across the country. They have a focus now on winning elections, not just attending rallies and venting their frustration with the Washington insiders who continue to spend America into deeper financial woes.
.
|
Whether that means voting out a 36 Whether that means voting out a 36-year incumbent republican in Indiana who has lost his conservative edge or a liberal freshman Democrat in Missouri, the tea party movement is poised for more success in 2012. Americans are tired of the out of control spending, unsustainable debt and growing intrusiveness of the federal government
..
Thanks to you, the Tea Party Express has grown to be the largest Tea Party political action committee in the country. Our campaigns have led to key Tea Party victories all across the nation. Now, with the 2012 elections quickly approaching, we must be ready!

Great pictures, thanks!
Now that these victories are showing up, the talking heads are saying, “I thought the tea party was dead, but look at this.”
Heck, it’s them that decided the tea party was dead, but it NEVER was!
Rubes and but boyz.

Thanks for helping us “retire Lugar”! Now to get Mourdock elected in the fall! Donnelly already has 800,000 dollars. But we’ve got some pissed off Hoosiers.
To: hoosiermama
No problem, hoosiermama!
The Tea Party Express will be back real soon to help Murdock.
