A real leader would have put little jo in place a long time ago: "JOE, I'm the President so STFU and do as you are told." You'd flunk Politics 101 if you didn't know Biden was definitely sent out there directly by the President to say what he did. Probably it was a peace offering to the gay lobby, but they didn't budge without a full endorsement so Obama caved.

You'd flunk Politics 101 if you didn't know Biden... My comment was more intended to reflect the words in bold that were quoted, indicating that the writer of the piece was naive enough to think that Biden was exerting pressure, and I agree, but it would be he, not me, that flunks out.
