They keep comparing their movement to the Civil Rights movement for racial equality in the 50s-60s. But when you look at the dignified behavior of the blacks at that time, marching quietly in church clothing, to these sexual outlaws running around half naked and making obscene gestures, there is no comparison whatsoever.

Indeed. As black conservative La Shawn Barber has rightly pointed out, most of those church-going, Bible-believing people would be turning in their graves at the thought that their efforts to improve their lives and those of their descendants would later be distorted into saying men “must” be allowed to “marry” men and Christians must be persecuted.

Excellent observation, Albion Wilde. My husband just told me he saw a group on the street median in boring Monroe this evening, holding signs with profanities and “Repeal the marriage amendment!” I assume they’d recently arrived and would soon be evicted by the Monroe PD (plus it was getting dark), because this isn’t Asheville!
